Got the Saik 305 Heatsink! It's so huge! and I can't find room to put the driver :p

You were probably joking...but just in case there's loads of room on the base of the heatsink. I even managed to get a Moh round linear onto the base. Have a look here if your interested: Saik build

My SAIK heatsink design is different, it completely omits the stock pill in the host (it's longer with more mass), but there is a machined 17mm board pocket and loads of room behind the diode for any type of driver to be used.

No worries man!

Yeah you can see clearly in the picture here:

That's is far more massive than the other design.

I'm also proud of the feat I pulled off which makes you able to use both stock 3xAA holder and 18650/26650 lithium cells.

Wow its almost twice the size! Nice idea with the board pocket..

@eytyxhs what type of driver do you have, I guess its not a round 17 mm one, but is it too big to fit inside the 12 mm module hole? If it is, maybe you could use a larger drill bit on the driver end?:eg:

The nice thing about the mogasm saik heatsink is that you can mount multiple drivers on it with lots of room Tonight we are paralleling 3x ben boost drivers and that saik heatsink from moh will work fine your version wont. Dont get me wrong even with the mixups I like the way you do yours but you may want to leave that option open for people buying. I recently got the mits500 in your 2 piece direct diode wf-501b and it works great peaked out at 1.15W on a 2 min run. Eh fun times! I will post a thread on the build when I get a chance.

Any word on the C2's? If Not could I just give you the dimentions I want and you make me a couple up?

Yeah my version of SAIK doesn't leave room for multiple parallel round drivers, just one. But I prefer that one to have secured in it's place, sound and safe, instead of it being glued to the back of the heatsink. Looks more professional-like that way I think.

Hmm... C2's. Damn, I forgot about those. Nothing has yet arrived from DX, even though they claimed they did send a replacement waaaay back. I should probably open another ticked. God damn it I hate those waiting times and 3x useless replies before we even get to the problem.

EDIT - Well, you could just send me the host for me to design a heatsink for. I'll send it back with a heatsink in it!

I think he got a list of the dimensions of popular sinks. PM him for a specific host and the chance is great he can make the sink without having the host.

Any idea when you will come up with another host design?
Since I'm finally on my summer vacation, very soon, I already have two new host ideas I'm going to put up. One will be green-only host by your demand, possibly nicknamed Deimos or whatever I could come up with.

Another would be a beefed up version of Phobos, to house the most powerful diodes our hobby has to offer. Possibly nicknamed Mars.

Yep, thanks Blord,

There's a custom work section there.

Also due to ungodly amounts of "How much is the shipping" questions via PM, I bolded up, enlarged and made red the text that specifically says,

"Worldwide free shipping".
