Eh i think mine is taking so long because it gets shipped to the states first then my location. Hoping it comes in soon otherwise i might have to throw my nice new blue into a plain C6. Then again that would give me an excuse to get one of those nice 500mw Mitsubishis from DTR.

Euda, I received the replacement B50 heatsink in today, the new ones look outright awesome man and yes good idea to opt for the smaller screws, instead of those big ones (they couldn't fit when screwed in holding Axiz Module).

I would say, it shipped rather fast considering it's from Europe. Thanks Euda! Great service A+

EDIT: The heatsink is drilled perfect to Aixiz size. Wow, what a nice fit for the module. Very tight to the module. Perfect fit. Your dad does an excellent job.
Yeah as I said, I've switched to a different process of making the seat for Aixiz a while back after recieving a few complains that the drilled holes were like, 13 mm wide. Now it's a good fit I think.

I'm glad you like them :)

dbub, give it time, it's an FOB, I'd be suspicious if they didn't inspect it thoroughly first.

Have you made Ultrafire C2 heatsinks before? Do you know their dimensions? Looks like a nice host, lots of space for the heatsink yet cheap: Ultrafire C2 DIY Cree LED Flashlight Shell/Casing Complete Set with Driver Pill (1*18650/2*CR123A) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme
No I have not.

It looks like a host to house a very powerful laser, heatsink should be fairly generous in mass. Though to be honest, I dislike hosts with largely disproportional heads like that, so I guess that's why I didn't pick it up yet.

I probably should, now that you've mentioned it.

I would very much appreciate it if you could engineer a heatsink for them, I'd buy at least one.

Say what? :D Accepted!

However, I will most likely need to buy a few taps off eBay once I do determine them (I've got a handy little pocket tool for determining threads), so that'll take a few weeks to arrive to me.

Would you be OK if I played with your RPL that long?

Edit - If so, I'll do it for like, price of shipping.

DEAL

You should make like 5-10 of these adapters cause they´re highly coveted by RPL owners. Most of them also buy the Meller Griot as a beam expander cause it has the perfect exit aperture for the RPLs with a minimal powerloss. Jack from Optotronics doesn´t sell these adapters any longer.

I would be ready to ship it to you in ~5weeks. It´s on the way to lazeerer for a super-polish right now :)
