Dear DTR,
I have some questions.
1. Are these diodes assorted second grade performance ? or random ?
2. Total amount US$139 for three 445nm A140 diodes is O.K ? ( including international shipping )
3. What is your PAYPAL account ?

The diodes are not binned for performance. Efficiency is luck of the draw.;)

I am firm on pricing.

do you clip off the not used case pin? if so could i buy one without it clipped off and wires soldered on to all three leads?

I believe the case pins are already clipped off in the projector...he cuts the ribbon cable with an x-acto knife then packages them. Cheers!:beer:

No I do not remove the case pin and when you get one with leads it will have all three pins with leads. :beer:

Red-Positive
Black-Negative
White-Case Pin

They are not clipped off all together they are just shorter than the other two. I also use a press tool instead of a cutting the ribbon up and putting pressure on the pins.:beer:

The selector is so you can charge at different rates.;)

Not bad $1.50 less each than the ones I linked to but I have not heard of that company so unless you have some experience with them I would ask around if anyone has used them before ordering. You would still be looking at a 3+ week wait for shipping.:D

After seeing this, now I dont feel so bad following my canceled orders notice due to the aforementioned shortage. Thankfully I understand this is only temporary & everything will soon be back on track. DTR isn't about letting people down so just hang in there folks, that's what I've been told to do anyways ;)

DTR do you have any A150s available btw? I'd like to order another 1 or 2 if so, thanks.

I have plenty on hand. None are 150's but there is no reason to pay more as all testing shows they are the same.:beer:

Hrm ok. I have several extra A140s at the mo but there's something about rolling with the A150 club that intrigues me so much, minus the cost difference I'm not sure what exactly that is though :beer:

Just a quick question regarding the njg drivers.....

Can they be set up to around 1750ma (heatsinked ofcourse)? If not I will need to find another cheap boost alternative...

Some have gotten them that high. The highest I have pushed one is to 1.6A with heatsinking. If you find a better driver I think you will make a few thousand friends.:)
