For what it's worth -

About a month ago I grabbed a bunch of diodes from DTR. Of those that I have in a built/testable state (about half a dozen diodes in total), they were all dead-on 452nm, with essentially no variance from diode to diode:

That's good to know! Thanks for posting this..

Thats great. What current were you running them?

Just ordered one of these bad boys.

It is packed up ready to go out in the morning.:D

Just thought I would post the power graphs for 2 of the 445 diodes I got from DTR.

graphwrite.aspx

and my super efficient diode that did over 2W at 1,500mA

and this is the power graph for the 405 diode I got from DTR, I didn't use a G2 lens for this run

and this is the power graph for the 635 diode I got from DTR

interesting, and the 405 and 335 cant be driven higher without damaging it? (the 445's go up to 1.8ma)

They can be driven a little bit higher but going much higher will shorten the life of the diode drastically and some weaker diodes will fail. The 635 diode I probably could have pushed a little higher without a problem.

Been awhile but I got a laser using one of these diodes from DTR previously. My g/f does the laser sciences and I convinced her to take it to work for the fancy analysis. Attached is the profile from BeamGague 5.5 (whatever that is) for your viewing pleasure. The beam was not fully focused and battery not fully charged but results are fun to see none the less!

Paypal sent for two modules. Had to pull the trigger on a 12x as well, and the G-2's!
Thanks!
