Geez, guys, is he still scamming people?

He was thoroughly proven to be dishonest back in the first half of 2008!
I thought he was banned?

I trusted him, gave the benefit of 'the doubt'; and he rewarded me with 6 month of constant "this week" or "it should be on its way", etc.

If he's still doing the same old crap, why isn't he banned?

:twak:

He isn't banned because he doesn't use LPF anymore.

However, I'll see what the outcome with my computer parts is, and I can ban him from laserchat where he frequently hangs out if he proves to be trying to scam me too.

I just bought a few computer parts thru him, and also traded him a small green laser module for some more computer gear. He's promised me it'll be shipped by the end of the week.

If not, I am going to Adelaide in May/April I think to visit him again.

Would you?

If yes, please take it out of his hands and ship it to me (ill pm u my details if u 'agree') ill cover shipping expenses ofc

Most of the folks here are great people, don't let one or two idiots prevent you from getting in on some of the great offers that happen here.;)

i only use paypal transactions so that if something doesn't go through or i get "scammed" i can open a dispute. normally i only inquire to those who i see have huge reps on this forum or are well known. if i don't trust them at all or especially with a purchase of 700 bucks, i'd use paypal so i can file a dispute. i'd also definitely use registered/signed mail thingy or w/e it is so i got proof he/she got it. i really hope this guy wises up and gets a real job so he can start paying people back.

People did use paypal, it's just that you can only file a dispute 60 days after payment.

oh i c, yeah i remember there being a deadline to open a dispute. well for me unless it's a well trusted member, i wouldn't ask them to do something for me that would take that long. something of that magnitude would be too valuable to trust in someone i know almost nothing about. i've read good strong reviews on some people so i inquired about things from them. :p that's just me. i'm all for giving new comers a 2nd chance since their rep isn't established yet, just not 700$ chances XD maybe a 100 or something for a host and some mods.

It looks like he yanked the money from his account into a bank account or something so when I disputed I didnt get anything when I won because there were no funds.
