I have an idea. Find someone you can trust who lives fairly near you and willing to help. Then when someone untrusted buys a laser mail it to the middleman instead and have them then mail the laser to the buyer. That way the laser is put on tracking as sent and if a scammer reverses the payment while in transit to your middleman your only loss is shipping. The main cost to this method is you need a partner and your shipping costs will go up to buyers you are unsure of. You obviously wouldn't use the relay method for a buyer with massive rep but this way you can be way more secure with the little scamming dirt bags :D

Think of it as a "secured" shipping method and charge accordingly for the extra shipping costs and for payment to your middleman. Bam, good bye scammers.

Just a little idea of mine, might be more work than its worth idk.

Not sure this would work. What happens when the buyer sees the tracking number as delivered and files a dispute with PayPal? (After the middle man has already shipped the product on)

Couldn't he still end up with the product and PayPal will refund his money? After all you didn't ship it to his verified address on file with PayPal.

That's a good point too...

Point is, if it's a scamming buyer, your done, PayPal will NOT side with you...

There's NO way out of PayPal's policy's... They are clearly not the best choice for sellers but they are for buyers... So that means sellers must use them aswell.

and just google 'Scamming Scammers' to find some great reads on 'Scam Baiting'
find the long one about setting up and successfully scamming one of the Nigerian Bank Scam scammers.
Thier greed can be used against them.
You may have to send a few $$ to get the 'hook' set but in the end, PBIAMF.

Ahh so good to hear that Anthony, imagine pr0jkt right now, he just tore apart his "free" laser and now the case was closed against him, turns out paypal isnt all bad.

Just a word of advice, pr0jkt can still view these pages, best not to give him ideas, so if I were you I would edit out that last bit on your comment above me, don't take this the wrong way, I'm just trying to be helpfull
