Lol......

Anyways the laser just cleared US customs & is headed to him now... :(

I have a sick feeling that if I actually win this case he will be opening a new case saying its defective because he will likely fuck around with it now that he got it for free :(

Sorry to hear that this has happened. Hopefully PayPal makes it right in the end, although I wouldn't count on it... :( A couple years back I was scammed here on LPF. I bought a 150mW green pen for $220 from a member. It never arrived and the member vanished. I did a charge back and won the case but he had no money in his account so I was out $220.

sorry to hear that man

they get us all eventually :banghead:

But I'm wondering if this ever happened to a seller here before, because like paypal its always the buyer who wins in almost all cases but sometimes the buyer is the scammer & the seller is legit...

If you sent it to his verified address and can prove it was delivered, PayPal will hopefully conclude that our friend is, indeed, a crock of shit.

Best of luck, my friend.

Yeah, but the PayPal people can sometimes be notoriously stupid in their decisions & judgements, when they see the tracking saying "delivered" with the buyers signatures in their logic it means the seller made it up somehow & then te buyer emails PayPal saying "I never got it" then the PayPal employee will simply come to the conclusion that obviously the seller didn't deliver it & there is no way the buyer could possibly be lying :p

Im really sorry to hear about this AnthoT :( and I hear you Jake, no one will ever wittingly sell to him again...but whats to stop him making another account and coming back as someone else? Unless there is some sort of identification required to join or at least buy and sell (admittedly this could be faked too) just filtering IP addresses wont necessarily stop him. Who knows steviedezie or sparkles could still be around under a different pseudonym...:yabbmad::beer:

Tried emailing, texting, phoning & nothing..... He is either in a coma or is completely ignoring me... It's funny because 5 minutes before the dispute he sent me an email thanking me and stuff... Then my reply was a WTH why did you open a dispute, never replied, in his sale thread with his phone there that's not even his number... It's some girl who has never heard of him... He's a scam artist...

Aah sorry to hear that AnthoT, wouldn't it be a good idea for sellers to transfer the money to a different paypal, that way the money is there for a refund, but not in the primary account incase the buyer turns out to be a scammer
