Sent him a gift by mail:
Sorry to hear that this has happened. Hopefully PayPal makes it right in the end, although I wouldn't count on it... A couple years back I was scammed here on LPF. I bought a 150mW green pen for $220 from a member. It never arrived and the member vanished. I did a charge back and won the case but he had no money in his account so I was out $220.
yes .
I qualify for seller protection but my luck with paypal it wont end up in my favor
If you sent it to his verified address and can prove it was delivered, PayPal will hopefully conclude that our friend is, indeed, a crock of shit.
Best of luck, my friend.

One good thing from all of this is. He will NEVER be buying/selling on this forum in his life ever again. F you projkt, f you sparkles, and a big ol F you to you steviedezie. I still want my $50 bucks back you piece of s***
Im really sorry to hear about this AnthoT and I hear you Jake, no one will ever wittingly sell to him again...but whats to stop him making another account and coming back as someone else? Unless there is some sort of identification required to join or at least buy and sell (admittedly this could be faked too) just filtering IP addresses wont necessarily stop him. Who knows steviedezie or sparkles could still be around under a different pseudonym...:yabbmad::beer:
Has he talked to you at all since opening the dispute?
Aah sorry to hear that AnthoT, wouldn't it be a good idea for sellers to transfer the money to a different paypal, that way the money is there for a refund, but not in the primary account incase the buyer turns out to be a scammer
