Timelablasers pleasure to deal with

Rob aka timelablasers is a reasonably new forum member like myself, and has recently been supplying the aussie laser community with ion gas lasers (a few laserphysics and a spectra physics). I bought one of the laserphysics lasers.

I originally asked him a question on ebay about the laser (thats where he was originally selling it), and we got chatting over email. I told him about the forums and offered (and posted) a forsale thread on his behalf.

Rob was kind enough to hold onto one of the laserphysics lasers for me until funds were available to buy it. He also drove into Melbourne to ship the laser via a courier. He kept me posted all the way during the process of buying and shipping the laser. He even updated me when it was in the van with the courier on route to my house. I Got the text just as I was leaving the hospital!

All in all Rob is a great seller and I wont hesitate to deal with him again. He has a broken (power supply problems but good tube) laser physics which I will buy in a few weeks as a backup tube. I may also see if I can fix the power supply and have 2 laser physics argons.

yep - i shouldn't have been so slack taking so long to praise him for his exceptional effort!

At least we can expect the same, if lasers ban/restriction get applyed into usa/canada.

Yeah fortunatly we only have a ban on laser pens/torches - the laser I bought is in my avatar - not exactly portable! (and I hate to think of the number of 18650 batteries to light the tube!)

I have to agree, rob aka timelablasers is one of the nicest sellers i´ve met on ebay, i lost an auction for a sp ArIon tube and just hours later he emailed me with an offer for a tested known good supposedly new or near new tube.
