I wanted to add my great experience with Styropyro concerning this awesome pointer (>80 mW, 473 nm handheld laser) :D

Good to hear that the laser is running well for you! That bright 473nm beam is definitely worth all the drama that laser started. :D

Oh wow, your camera picks up 473nm very well!

As for the thread owner: You're lucky you got a working yellow. I've been looking around for months ._.

I was surprised no one had jumped on this earlier. I'm pretty sure it was up for sale for a fortnight before I decided it was worth it.

I was playing around with fog last night and the beam is super thin! I love it :D

I forgot to take any pictures though because I didn't have my good camera on hand and the beam deserves more than a s***ty 2MP camera :p

Arayan - I love that 473. It's definitely next on my list.

all you need is $400 for a strong 473nm these days. Not too tough to come by like they were a few years ago, plus the color is like no other. I love my 473nm labby as it is, in a handheld it'll probably be somehow better.

I'm going to be looking at a minimum 100mW 473 due to my optical condition.

I still have never seen a 445 though :p

Well lasever seems to be selling good 473nm units, hope so. I'd go with 473nm before 445nm if I were you. Well, that is if you're in it for nice color rather than destructive power.

Extra pictures :D

Can't get beamshots as I don't have a fogger atm.

If I had any glycerin left I would have used this method.

This is the only time I wish I smoked :p

Nice pics there! Beautiful wavelength isn't it? I absolutely adore mine. Reminds me of a fall sunset in the mountains.
