Slick Transaction... ya think???

Well i only just saw this thread after i purchased it from him!!!

I was told that he was going to keep the original one he bought from WL and sell the other one he purchased from a member on this forum. After reading the threada above iwould like to ask Henry which is it? Did you sell it to someone in Canada and they picked it up or was it sent to me?? Because what i was to believe was that you sold the second one to me after i paid you!!
I will await for your response. Plus you have an email i sent you in regards to a tracking number.

Remeber i told you it was a gift from my wife for me by my son for fathers day, so dont dissapoint me, i believe in giving any a second chance so this will be for you to proove to everyone.

And to all who jump on this guy, he knows and said he shouldnt havr said YES, but its too late now and that a post to beware other of him is a good idea but really anyone who hasnt done business with him shouldnt give him a hard time, because 1, obviously he hasnt done business on here and dont know how things work!! Also before jumping on me because i am a junior member, remember i have register onthis forum and been active for years and have made over 100 transactions before i stopped, and dont remeber and of my details to log in so i just created a new name id because i wont be on here much, so it doesnt bother me.

But lets all give him a break and see how this pans out!! Thats my 2cents!!

Tommy, sorry to say but I doubt that laser will ever get to you. You live in Australia. Its hard enough to get lasers through as it is, but when they see that Arctic there will be no question. Good luck bro, hope you paid with Paypal.

Tech Junky, yes paypal is the only option i will consider for the protection of both parties, although in my expierence its always more in favor of the buyer.

Secondly we have had an agreement as to how it should be done havimg everything else and safety items which is used to be able to power the unit sent in another parcel to another address posted from a different address also.

3rdly anyway the laser could be powered on has been taken care of so there is no way customs can turn it on and theres a sale note in the parcel notifying the buyer "Me" that the item is faulty and is only good for parts or repAir.

I originally wanted the inside laser modual to be taken out and sent seperately but Henry wasnt confident in doing that. But i only wantes the host to put a new DLP 445nm diode and afew flexdrives to make it a 2W arctic Spyder, and maybe use the original parts to put in another host or kryton.

The item i was informed has been sent and tracking number given although i dont think the EMS info has updated onto the server, so thats why i cant get any info when i tried tracking it, but thats normal, and i will give it till tuesday if no info can be obtain from the tracking number then paypal will be informed of a highly suspious transaction.

Ive had many high power green lasers sent the exact same way with no problems ever except 1 time when i bought my 1st 50mW green pen laser off EBay without knowing the law of lasers import and it was confiscated, but simce then no problems!


I will let everyone know the situation when i have recieved it etc... Should be only 5 days via EMS as they are very speedy.

I did my best to make sure he gets it. All I can do now is wait until he has it in his hands.

I'm not sure you guys realize, but I hardly come to this forum. I couldn't care any less how rabid "Laserbee" wants to drag my reputation (which I had zero, not sure how much worse that can get) since it doesn't really affect me. But I do feel bad for Dylan445 because the poor guy thinks I'm trying to scam him. I clarified as much to him as I could today, even send pics of the tracking info.

I'm not sure how strict Australian customs is, but I followed Dylan445's instructions to the letter, so I think there's a good chance he will get it.

omg you should have told me this. I was afraid to open it in fear that I would damage something inside. If you were going to take it apart anyway, I would have done it. The take apart is usually the easy part! The put together is the hard part!

As for futureone, i understand if the neg rep doesnt bother you, but IMO it dooesnt mean that you not comming on this forum wont effect you, you might decide to participate in a GB or sale on this and any other forum and people will not let you take part because of the -rep! Members here arnt just memebers on LPF but on other forums as well and it will effect you in the Laser community in general. Once you get a bad rep its hard to lose it, so you dont want to be known as that guy that backs out on deals. You never know when you might need advice and help from somone and you dont get it!! So i would care if not alot then alittle but not totally dont care!!

Im afraid of you scamming me as i paid with PP and if i didnt trust you i wouldnt of done the deal. I only asked that you clear up the situation about already sold it to some local and they picked it up already and selling me that same laser. But since you cleared that up through email, i have faith that i will get the item i paid for! So its all down to time, will i get my item or not thats all, time will tell!!

Well great news. I got the laser today, everything is working fine.

Funny enough Customs did not even open the parcel because i think its due to there was nothing inside the box except the laser and a lense, the description was it was a Star Wars Prop' so when they scanned it , it would seem that it was as described.

Waiting for the other parts to come now .

I thank Henry for a nice transaction according to my expierence, i didnt have no trouble and even though the deal was for $180 incl shipping, it ended up costing him $85 to send both parcel one being xpress post EMS and the other normal mail. So basically he sold it for $95 but he didnt back out at the last second which i find is good of him, i will post pic once i have time. Just update for everyone.
