Hey all

I want to warn the people about this person. He purchases my 2W C6 laser, here is the link : http://laserpointerforums.com/f39/sold-2212mw-c6-blue-laser-77625.html
We agreed about the price and shipment. He paid the money on my PayPal account. After receiving the money I shipped the laser on October 4th 2012.

Now almost two weeks later I got a mail from PayPal. The buyer has put a file against me for "An unauthorized account activity claim".
I think he has received the laser and wants also the money back. So the want to scam me with this dispute.
I mailed him about this matter but no reaction from him so far.

PayPal want to see a proof of shipment. All my shipment are registered and with tracking so I am pretty sure I will win the dispute.
I just want to warn people about his malicious action. Be careful with this person. :mad:

You can use the tracking number yourself to see if
it is noted that the package was delivered.

If it has been delivered don't forget to supply PMs,
E-Mails and any messages between the two of you
while the deal was being made.
Also be careful about disclosing that it was a high
powered Laser to PayPal.


It would be easy enough for a Mod to check the ISP
addy for the 3 members mentioned above to see if
any match.

The laser has been delivered. The BPost tracking site can confirm that.

Now the issue with the high powered laser. I have stated that the people who buy my lasers must know the laser safety rules. If he bought it than he is willingly to take the risk involved shipping the high powered lasers.
I don't know how Paypal will decide in this matter.

Maybe you could ask AnthoT how he dealt with it and exactly what he said to PP, wrt a high powered laser. He had the same problem and he managed to win the case against PrOjkt. :beer:

Thanks for the heads up Blord. Personally I ship everything priority insured with delivery signature confirmation because this method protects both the buyer and seller from any postal mishaps as well as any attempted fraudulent claims like this. I'm glad to hear you have your bases covered, good luck with your case man.

Don´t know why people doing that. Just cause they got bad experiences with someone else and want revanche?

There must be some kind of an algorithm in PayPal that flags people who keep making claims...

I have asked Coldshadow to check the ip's. If the person is the same then I reveal this scammer to PayPal.

Recently I have been buying lasers and accessories from this fourm(all sucessfully) and I have been checking into this feedback fourm and I cannot believe how people have the balls to screw people over like this....I bought my laser from Blord and it's so awesome it would of never crossed my mind to screw him over.....how does somebody bring their self to do this?

I really hate this! Stupid scamming ruins the fun of selling items at a good price! Maybe it is an idea for new members to let them pay as a "gift". If they don't trust that show them your reputation and positive sales feedback!

If they still dont want to do it then it is their own problem. It is clear to the entire forum that everyone with high rep is VERY unlikely to scam you. And if that still happens you just post a thread in this section in which the seller is almost forced to solve it too maintain reputation..

Just my thought :)

Interesting idea, but some highly reped vets have run into trouble recently. I wont mention any names, but there have been a few threads about them...Hence rep cannot be considered an absolute guarantee and so sending as a gift may not be wise. :beer:

That sucks Blord. This type of thing has been happening more and more lately. I may have several (most?) of my lasers up for sale soon and I'm only going to accept postal money orders to avoid the kind of bs claim.

Hopefuly you have enough documentation that PayPal will side with you. Keep us updated!
