I'm not sure if this idea helps any matter like this, but I now require any potential buyers to scan a drivers license picture ID with an address that matches the paypal account delivery address they would use to purchase something from me. Especially from new members with 0 posts who've just joined the forum, more than 1/2 my inquiries are from brand new members like this.

So far I've had 2 new people tell me they understand & are happy to comply when I asked this from them in PM. I explained to them if they have no ill intent then they should have nothing to worry about, any honest buyer will understand because of scammers like Blord just dealt with.

If something like asking this from buyers can filter out even 1% of some potential scammer scumbags, please consider asking for some ID or something like this to protect yourself from being scammed again

Sorry to see what has happened here Blord. Thieves will be thieves. They have little to no conscience. Maybe his irresponsible behaviour will get the attention of the authorities when shining the beam around(irresponsibly).

+1 (It seems like more and more kids these days have no honor or integrity. I blame the parents who don't believe in spankings. That seems to be working well....)

Way back in the old days we did business by sending a money order through the US Postal service. Hell, I still do business that way when I buy or sell an item on gunbroker.

I hate reading this thread. :( it's made me sad. I thought scammers got stomped on out here in the real world, but apparently he can carry his little alias "Jtag" over from Xbox live where he breaks the rules and ticks people off, to reality where he scams for items and hard earned money. Ridiculous. Has anyone tried searching his Xbox live gamer tag? Sometimes these hacker prick types are proud and have elaborate profiles talking about their other profiles because in their little world they are untouchable.

Edit: just saw this is kinda stale.. Oh well, if it isn't resolved maybe someone can still help.
