Your heart wants to believe that people are basically good and that life is fair.

Your head knows that those things are not true.

The rhetoric between my head and heart is worthy of Yakety Sax.

THANKS DAVE!!!!:thanks:

How strange that Dave would post that when he did. Was reading just last night this from Willie Nelson(IMHO one of the greatest humans to ever live!)-

In your breast, these two ' 'Wolves' ' fight a constant battle.
Look for the good. Prepare for the bad.' '

On page 33 of 'The Tao of Willie'

' 'One of my favorite Cherokee stories speaks as well to us today as it did to the Tsalagi hundreds of years ago' '

' ' The Tsalagi believed that within each person was a battle between two wolves. Sitting with his grandson, a grandfather expalined that one of the wolves was evil and was driven by anger, envy, regret, ego, and the worship of war.
The other wolf was good, and was driven by love, hope, compassion, and the promise of peace.
Thinking about the wolves already growing within him, the boy asked,--Grandfather, which wolf wins?

And the old man replied, ' 'The one you feed' '

I love the wise way that native Americans looked at life-------We all need , from time to time, ask ourserlves,, Which one are WE feeding?:tsk:---

Hak, that was cool brother...

I often try to keep the good wolf fed, somehow though others may come along and toss the bad wolf a steak to eat. ;)

However as we walk this path of life, that is inevitable.

I actually mis-typed. I have a printer, even have two new ink cartridges, B&W & Color. The printer is my wife's old one. I got her one that just does PIX, which was what she wanted. I didn't have my lap-top at the time so she packed it up & put it somewhere. Now she's down with the flu, pissed at me for giving it to her, & I know that the installation disc is missing, but don't want to ask her to look for it NOW. I'll broach the subject to her when she's feelin' better & over bein' mad at ME. Thanks for the offers though...........rob
i know it might be a little late but hey im new. If you have the model and number of that printer i can more than likley dig up a driver for you. i Hate people who will knowingly take advantage of someone like that.

@ chewy, Thanks for your generous offer, from someone I don't even know !!!! I'm touched you should offer your aid to a total unknown, I thank you for that. My wife is over the 'flu now, of course, I'll have to pick her brain as to where the printer actually is, so I can give you the make & model. When I have them, I'll get back to you via PM. Thanks again for your generous offer.
@ To the REST of my PALS on this Forum who have helped or offered their assistance, I'll NEVER get over how you ALL helped me out through this continuing ordeal. I THANK YOU ALL !!!!!! just rob

Good to hear you and your DW are feeling better.

With all the stress you've encountered over this incident, it most likely helped lower your immune system, giving the bug loads of opportunity to reek havoc on you.

A little trick I learned, at the first sign of coming down with a bug or even working next to someone who is ill, (I work with typhoid Mary). Rub a bit of Vick's Vapor Rub on the bottoms of your feet, and put socks on for an hour or so til it gets absorbed.

Its an oldtimers remedy, I started doing this about a year ago and its worked good so far, no colds or flues yet.

Side note- Will also kill off some kinds of nail fungus if used 2-3 times a week.

As for the scammer ..... IT WILL come round to bite him.

For a start Andy, you just lost the ability to be part of a great community, full of informative and helpful people.

And once the word gets out about your scamming, who will ever trust you.......
