Hey everyone. A few weeks ago I ordered a 1.6/1.5W 445nm Black Jack from Ryan.

I don't want to type too much, but there are a couple of things I would like to say. 1: It's a better burner than the video shows (wasn't focused right or something), and 2: My camera makes beam look really purple...

It has a copper module and a really efficient diode (1.35A outputting 1.67W peak with a 3-element lens).

Sorry for the crappy video, the clips didn't work in my prefered video editor so I had to just piece them together.

Thanks for the laser Ryan :) Props to him, I recommend him to anyone.

I would have liked to see you take the Laser's power reading
after that long trip to Alaska...

I'm surprised you had trouble using 18350 batteries. All my lasers that are supposed to run on 16340's take them without any problems. (I prefer them)

Like I said in the video, whenever I used those it was a lot harder to get the tailcap on and while I was screwing it on the connection would go on/off even when the tailcap was switched off and I would have to make sure the tailcap was screwed on just right or else it would turn on at random times. Not something you want in a laser this powerful. No problems with the 16340 batteries.

Well since it was my just my first full winter up here I just had to tell myself that it wasn't normal :p But I'm loving the summer right now! Gotta love the warm but cool weather and the extended daylight.

When I first got there it was the beginning of the extended light cycle, couldn't sleep right for a week. Best fishing in the U.S. though. Anyway good luck with your laser, and if you're ever in Elixer on a Sat you'll prob run into me, after I'm back home anyway.
