Jeff is going to replace the ld and driver, bunch of people contributed to cover the cost of the repairs... hopefully enough so that upperlevel doesn't have to pay much.

Wow. As someone who's watches this train wreck from the sidelines it's sad it came down to this. I would like to make a suggestion to help prevent things like this. At just about every forum I frequent that has a "traders to watch/avoid" thread at the top of their BST area. Most have a policy where during a dispute the person in question has their trading status suspended while an effort to settle the dispute is made. If the person refuses to uphold their end of the trade then usually they get banned from trading completely. Sometimes the ban is applied forum wide.

Re: VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with 'bhwollen'

Wow you call this a train wreck I couldn't disagree with you more !

True this started out as a bad thing but I do believe it evolved into some very good :yh:

Look what has happened a member was wronged by an other member, the rest of the members got together and found a way to remedy the whole situation !

Yep this started as a attempt to get a laser fixed and ended up bringing people together, there was 10 people who stepped forward and donated to help fix this man's laser when the builder would not unless he was paid.

I call that that brotherly love and I for one am proud to have been a part of it, we went from a broken laser to helping a man and helping the forum as a whole

I think everyone should feel good about that and take away lessons learned in this thread, there are a few good ones here to take note of.

A train wreck I think not, more like the train to knowledge and understanding ;)

Re: VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with 'bhwollen'

I'm pretty sure the costs of repair and Shipping have been covered
by the 10 members that have already donated..

FlaminPyro would be the one to actually know...

Re: VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with 'bhwollen'

There are many different theories for stages of intellectual and emotional development, but imho people don't really have a clear understanding of themselves and consequences until mid twenties.

That theory sure did bloody well apply to me (a long time ago).

Re: VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with 'bhwollen'

Ben needs to be banned
If he doesn't make this right, he full out scammed somebody. And therefore should be treated as a scammer.

Edit: nvmd, I just noticed he is banned
Good riddens. The kid had a large sense of entitlement and acted his age.. 16 and very immature
