Re: VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with 'bhwollen'

Wow I guess I'll hang around a little while longer it seems there are some good
people out there, I have just received the 8th donation to help fix upperlevel's laser.

Thanks to all who have helped

And thank you for fixing it:beer:

This kind of reminds me some of the very old lpf threads I read, where people pulled together. Definitely a good showing for LPF in a bad situation.

I was the same until I found a bottle of Blue Absinth and subsequently Black Absinth (also comes in green and red Picture

Green fairy 70% ABV
Red fairy 75% ABV
Blue fairy 80% ABV
BLACK fairy 85% ABV

Unfortunately US has some crappy laws concerning absinthe and some weeds. I never tried any of those... but thanks for the tip, now I know what to bring back next time I travel:)

Just to make it relative to lasers. The blue absinth glows under 405 light. :D

They're pretty wide bottles. If I could find them again I'd try sending one

I'm not even sure how I got them here seeing as they should be illegal here too due to the wormwood.

Lase

EDIT: Just found out I can order them in bulk...

Carton Units: 6
Cartons Per Pallet Layer: 25
Layers Per Pallet: 5
Cartons Per Pallet: 125

I'd love that much Absinth!

Re: VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with 'bhwollen'

rep points dont always work as a good indicator as to someones actions on LPF.
Your rep page only displays the last 10 comments. If you spend enough time kissing ass, you can get rid of any negative comments people may have left.

You are so on target here:beer:! Learning more on this as time and something or nothing passes:(.

Re: VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with 'bhwollen'

Man I can't believe this guy...

Just two or three weeks ago, he was complaining in my Saik Kit thread about paying maybe $15 bucks more for a heatsink, vs one that he got from Moh....
http://laserpointerforums.com/f64/f...ng-32600-li-ion-battery-65982.html#post949583

But his builds are crap, and he charges hundreds for them!

It's easier to do the build, than it is to make the heatsink... (not even counting tools required, like a lathe, etc...)

Re: VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with 'bhwollen'

Btw:
Ben was online this morning(at least here it was early in the morning :tired:)!
Now i'm sure he won't do the right thing and in conclusion he should feel the wrath of the community...

Bhwollen --> :na: :gun: <-- community

or something like that:

Bhwollen --> :lasergun: <-- community

Edit: OMG Jay...that little crud is unbelievable..

I didn't see that till now. Complaining about the Master Builder is pretty much like "no clue".

Re: VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with 'bhwollen'

Yea like the lathe and cutting tips for the lathe there are a couple dozen different cutter tip designs I have and use depending on what I am machining and all of them do dull and break at some point, the cheapest is $6.75ea and how about measuring equipment and drill bits, they both break or get dull and need replacing then there is all the different sizes and types of material stock one must keep in stock, man there is a lot of things that go into making a heatsink that most people just don't think about, there are band saw blades for cutting the stock into pieces and then some times hack saw blades, I have a grinder and a belt sander and disc sander I must replace cutting surfaces on, Yep people just don't know what it takes to put out a quality product. I have a machine that dose nothing but sharpen drill bits, you ever tried drilling a hole with a dull drill bit, I go through like 50 or so small drill bits a year !
I could just throw stuff out the door like some but that isn't the proper way to do it and if you don't have a NC lathe it takes time to make a good tight fitting HS so yea there is more to it than most think.

O I feel so much better now that I got all that off my chest
