No, my problem is that he has been caught red handed and nothing is being done about it. I could understand posting everything he did if they were valid points but they are not.

I'm not selling diodes anymore. I made about $0.25-$0.50 per diode after packing materials and all that good stuff but I lost around 2-3 hours of my life every night packing the damn things. I didn't mind helping getting cheap diodes, but more and more people are turning out like plexus. I'm not going to work for free for assholes like that.

If Jay wants to pay him off then so be it, its his money anyway. It's bull that he is still here, that's all there is to it.

By the way Jerry, I did e-mail Avery. I suggest that anyone else that feels the same way that I do e-mail him too. PM me and I'll send you his e-mail.

(Your still not all pissed off about that Jerry? It's been what, 4 months? It's time to let it go. I notice you still have some rather nice links in your signature )

You are right here Toke I won't be selling him even a diode press, he may be able to get to Jay with all his whining about customer service but I feel I did the right thing and he just wouldn't shut up about his problem with burning out his diode and wants more customer service, I don't know how I can help him any more he is beond help !
His best choise is to keep his head under the radar but we both know that won't happen, he still needs more customer service

I hope sellers here will take note of you high expectations of customer support, and decide, before selling to you, whether they feel they can live up to it, or should refer you elsewhere.

What Jayrob did is what I would do... Grease the Squeaky Wheel
so that the whole train doesn't get derailed...

You cut your loses before it affects your business or life.

I'm in the middle of something very similar as we speak with
another member of this Forum that may blow out of proportion
in the near future...

I've decided to cut my loses by this SCAMMER rather than loose
sleep over it and tarnish our business reputation.

It does not mean that my customer is right... it means I will
pay to shut him up and go away...

Like Lee Iacocca said "Don't get mad... get even". That's one
of my mottos...

@ Pontiacg5.... I don't get it... you seem to be the most outspoken
person against Plexus ... Did he personally try to rip you off...
You seem to exhibit a bit too much hate on this issue...

BTW... You can do as you've done before and send the Admin an
E-Mail stating your reasons for wanting a member banned... You can
even get your buddies to do the same... I'm sure he will get banned
that way...

It has been handled by Jayrob... and I'm sure he wants to put it
behind him...

Jerry

I understand that idea, but the fact that it got that far is the problem. Like my father once said, "Its not the actions a man does, its the principals he uses to justify them"

I just fail to see how he can outright lie, effectively "steal" and then admit to his wrongdoings without repercussions. I'm with Pontiac on this one! PM SENT!!

If you are dealing personally with individuals I can agree
with you... but if you have a business reputation that you
have built up over many years... you are not going to take
a chance to ruin that reputation by 1 Scamming Rip-Off artist
customer.

I would rather loose that sale (put the customer on the Black
Balled list) and move on..

By arguing with the customer and holding my own ground would
cost me more in lost revenues over time than that 1 lost sale...

Like I said to Ponticag5... just send an E-Mail to to the Admin and
make your views known..

@ Pontiac... I had almost forgotten... Thanks for reminding me...:eg:

By doing that, you're just encouraging more self-righteous noobs to do the same.

It's best that these lowlives get banned and removed from the forum.

If you fall for his demands, you'll only encourage more to do the same, and that isn't what we want here.

Jayrob, how can you read this and not be pissed?

He wanted the driver to be replaced from the beginning and he admits he broke it. Then he has the balls to say "for my trouble?"

Even if you didn't explain the details of selling the driver individually he openly admitted that it was his own fault that it broke. Up to this point he said it was your fault because your host was poorly designed. Now all the sudden he gets what he wants and it's his fault?

Am I the only one seeing this?

This whiny little runt has done nothing but cause trouble for the last week. At this point it's not about the money. It's about what this is, and that is extortion which just so happens to be illegal.

QFMFT

Just to reiterate. I did not ask for any money back. Jay contacted me about what I wanted and I gave him a list which included a number of points around communication with me. That's all I really wanted. He understood and we communicated around the issue. Then I get a refund without asking or expecting it. I told him I would send it back and he said keep it. That's when I sent 1/2 back thinking that it Jay felt it was important to refund me.

It wasn't about the money. I am not sure why this is lost on you. There really is nothing positive or constructive about unprovoked name calling and such harsh words to both myself and Jay. We resolved the situation together, mutually and amicably. That is a very good thing.

If it's not about the money, then you should have given him back 100% instead of 50%. Man I hope Ave permabans you asap.

Well, he should'nt have taken it from Jayrob in the first place.

Example: If I steal from a shop, get caught, and offer to pay the shop half of the cost of the item, does that make me a better person?

He has no control over who sends money into his account.

However, as I said above if it was never about the $ he could have refunded the refund without even asking/telling jay.

Jayrob sent him a new driver.

He should have never accepted the driver from Jayrob. He should have never told him to send it.

So he got refunded.

All this thread editing and deleting is confusing me >.<

Either way, he should have sent the refund back. It wasn't his to keep to begin with, and he also admitted that it was his own problem and that he'd killed the driver.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

The three people involved are the only ones that really matter, surely, and if they've agreed to settle this and move on, then maybe it'd be best if everyone else did too.

This is just coming across as a hate campaign now, headed by a few regulars who've stepped way over the line in some of their comments, and jumped on by a few more, and it's getting tedious.

It's not a hate campaign.

Plexus did the wrong thing. Not only did he do the wrong thing, he took the matter onto the open forum to make others pay for his own mistakes

We, as a collective, on LPF, will not stand for such behavior. Until he retracts all his statements, and issues an apology to both FlamingPyro and Jayrob, we won't stop.

We, as a collective, aren't going to encourage such behavior here.

I'm sure I speak for most, if not all, the members here when I say that such scum does not deserve to exist on the forum.

What he's done is no better than any of the other scammers that have been here in the past.

Just to be a little fair...... he has offered an apology to Jayrob that
Jay has already accepted...

That being said... I don't think someone should profit from their own
inability or technical inadequacies to properly assemble a project and
then damage their own parts..

Jayrob did refund a part that he didn't even sell
That speaks volumes about Jay in my book...

The rest is up to the Forum community and the Admin...
