First of all, I live in Sweden where lasers > 5mw are forbidden by law to be sold or carried with you i a public place so until now I have only had experience with low power laser pointers.
So for my first high power laser I made the huge mistake to (despite many warnings onthis forum) buy it from Aliexpress:

Of course I did not belive for a second that it would be 5000mw, but I thougt that I would get ~100mw and that was fine by me.
After 4weeks waiting the laser arrived, and it's total crap. I could barly se the dot on my hand at night.
Ok so after reading about the varios laser buiders on this forum, I decided to go for this laser built by Blord for $100, mainly beacuse he lives in belgium and that way I could avoid the inport regulations for the EU.

I got great response on every question I had and since he has a superb reputation on the forum I were never really worried about paying in advance.
He made the delivery and gave me a tracking number within A FEW HOURS and two working days later it arrived at the post office.
I am really impressed by the build quality, it feels really solid and sturdy, not lite the chinese crap i got from aliexpress. I did cost a little more but it was well worth the money.
The blue beam is really impressive as you can se in the photo. I know someone will think it was a bad idea to use it in this environment but it was well mounted on my tripod only pointing at the chimney of the factory in the picture.
I can really recomend Blord as so many other on this forum.
