So, back in mid July I ordered a 445nm AixiZ lens from Len/Hakzaw1.

Everything went fine until, well, it didn't show up -- now, keep reading!

Hak shipped the lens on 7/22, and by 8/01, it still wasn't here. A bit of a long time from Texas to Colorado, so a few days later I spoke to Hak about it.

Hak responded immediately, and, from what I understand, contacted my local post office. He went out of his way to do this, to research what went on and contact the right people to figure out what went wrong.

Today, about 3 days after I contacted him, the lens showed up, with a big yellow sticker on it from the USPS basically claiming "oops, sorry about that." - The post office screwed up, must have lost it behind a counter or a bin or something -- the yellow 'apology' sticker from USPS verifies that it WAS NOT HAK'S FAULT WHATSOEVER! but he still went out of his way to figure out what went on and get it resolved.

A lot of sellers, on an item as small and inexpensive as a lens could have just said "Well, I sent it, your problem." -- but Hak didn't. He went out of his way, and made it happen.

So, I'd really like to thank him for that, and for helping to feed my unhealthy laser addiction.

Thanks a lot, Hak - and, everyone should feel REALLY confident dealing with him!

<3 back at you-- thanks for having faith in me!!!

I have another lens in limbo land- and I suspect it may be a similar problem--
I would have to raise my price to send these out with DC#s- and that would make it cheaper to just get it from Chuck(aixiz) which I can highly recommend (but not from aixiz ebay) especially from those outside USA.

btw----AixiZ tells me they have 3000 445 glass FTs in stock- contact Chuck if you happened to get a 'wrong' one from AixiZ- he will fix it.

I still really wonder what actually happened... The envelope didn't appear damaged or torn or messed up like other lost mail I've reeived (soemtimes months) later.. and honestly I wonder if both of them got lost in the same facility...

I know they were somewhat small envelopes, maybe a particular machine in a certain facility didn't like them?

They made me add extra stamps for hand cancelling-- they were just a little to thick to get run threw the machine== It was not planned as a group buy but ended up that way.

peace--- hak
