update: measured the current flow.
Its between 0.7 and 0.10 on a fresh charged battery.
began with 0.10 and dropped quite fast.

Thx Xtrm2Rick, i also hope so ^^

Awesome! Both batteries(both other color but same text printed???) worked on full power for over a minute already! Will test more tommorow. Im real happy that this crappy day i had today ended in some real joy.
You gained some reputation by me and sure will return the favor if ya need something small and i have it.

My fear is though, that maby my charger wont charge them completly and i will be stuck again...
How long do i need to charge them? One charger doesnt have overcharge protection...
Both charger do have led indicators i always monitor to see when they are ready. If i keep doing that i have nothing to fear?
Are they protected batteries or not?

What charger do you use? I have one cheap ass charger, and one from trustfire.

Thanks again man!

I´m happy that it works now! Didn´t know that there are such crappy 10440 Li-Ions around. Í´m glad that I was wrong and your laser works fine! :twak:

DealExtreme: $12.58 Ultra Fire 10440 14500 Ac Charger charger i use.

both unprotected and they should be same color blue¿? so keep in mind to not discharge them to much either iirc about 2,20V was the limit.

the problem that i have with smal protected batteries is that when you try to pull to much current out of them the pcb just seem to freeze just as if it has been discharged to much or something....thats why i rater use unprotected batteries when i need some small ones.

anyway good that it worked out!

o and thnx for the rep guys :)

ummm, i cant measure voltage all the time, but when its not capable of burning anymore would be a good time to charge right?
The trustfire charger says it can charge 10440 and was reccomended to me on this forum in 2009, so i hope it can do the job. Tried both batteries for 2 minutes already, not loss in power yet. awesome.

both batteries are slighty different in color. one battery is a tiny bit darker then the other one. Maby they are from other batches. But both work fine :)

i made it here because i was also questioning the laser itself, by likeitbright.
I can tell now, that likeitbright has made me a perfect little laser with good build quality and a steady 280~300mw beam.
A dispute is after all, not being happy about something happened, then trying to solve it.
