I've decided to contribute with a brief positive experience I've had recently with Jerry aka lasersbee.

Up to this date I've bought 2 LPM's from him while in communication "behind the scene" (PM channel).
First I went for 3.7W USB LaserBee, which introduced my into the world of precise laser power measurements and it does the job very well. There weren't no hiccups at all during the first buy from lasersbee, the whole transaction went smooth, I've been well informed about the progress of the shipment and delivering the installation software afterwards.

Eventually I've realized I shall upgrade to even more advanced LPM level, which would have been the 5W Ophir version. I've decided to choose the easy, although in the end not the cheapest way (the term "cheap" doesn't really come when buying 5W LPM with Ophir and Data logging, does it:shhh:)

After first digging and more friendly chat with Jerry in one week time I've received the second LaserBee and could happily post a statement: LPM which fulfills my needs:)

Since I own 2 LPM's now, my 5W with ophir remains the main "power reading machine" as we speak, the 3.7W USB serves as a backup LPM. A long-term measuring comparison performance between them two is another interesting task I'm planning to dig in as the time goes by.

:thanks: to Jerry for making all of this happen.

OPHIR club membership is not a bad thing for sure;)

More lasers are to come, however saving money with this hobby is next to impossible in my case:whistle:
