HAHAHAHA, I laughed SOOOOO hard at the title of this thread...

I completely agree with you though. I've spent over $600 of merchandise with them over the years.

I would buy things, then forget about it, then 2-3 weeks later I see a package and I would have no idea whats in it. I open it up and I'd be like "oooooh yeah, now I remember when I bought this"...

but yeah, there shipping is Sloooooowwwww.... Upgrading shipping doesn't help much though....

Yeah I don't mind the wait all that much but shipping the same wrong item twice in a row is unacceptable.

Ya thats a raw deal there luke.

I know if i received a E-mail like that, knowing how pissed you where,
I'd be down at the warehouse myself picking that order.
And if i was the supervisor, I would be on the phone in a heart beat letting someone know "If you can't get it right, I'll find someone that can".

And just why would i be such a hard a$$?
Because there's a good chance there are many more orders that shipped out with the wrong product (s).
A bad rep is not what a company wants at all.

Yeah I had to pay for tracked shipping back to China ($20) for a $37 product because they accidentally sent me a $10 POS.

I ordered some "Anti Green" shades from focalprice on 11/21/09. One week later they sent me a PM through their website saying:

Dear customer,

This email is from customer service team of Welcome to focalprice.com | The lowest Price for DS R4 lite,PSP Slim,Genuine Earphone,SONY EX71 EX082,PS2,Macbook Accessories etc.. We regret that your order T2470628 has not been delivered for over seven days due to out of stock. We will be getting the item back in stock within 5 days. Would you like to continue waiting and we will ship it with top priority? Should we fail to get those in stock within this period, we'll notify you and propose for modification or cancellation. Please advice at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely yours’
FocalPrice service team

so I sent back saying:

Yes I don''t mind continuing waiting. When you say with top priority does that mean it will have tracking now?

thanks!

and they sent back saying:

Dear customer,

Thanks for your understanding! We will ship it with top priority means we will send it ASAP when it is ready. Thanks!

Sincerely yours’
landy

lol.. so atleast now I'm assured my package is "top priority"

O well, it was only a $9.45 pair of 532nm shades. I don't think it would be too incredibly hard for them to find the bright red pair of shades:

I think I will PM them again asking if it's in stock.

Focalprice is a bait & switch rip off company.
9 times out of 10 they will send the wrong item and when they do, it's always a cheaper item, not a more expensive one; so it's no accident.
The best way to get at them is to post a review at Store Ratings & Reviews - ResellerRatings.com - Shop Safe & Avoid Scams
They don't like negative reviews.
You can also read other reviews; but take the positive ones with a grain of salt as many of them are phony "stellar" reviews of their great service to help bring up their bad ratings.
I tried buying some stuff from them last year and after several months of fighting I got to keep the wrong items they sent and get my refund as well. It worked out for me since I got the items for free, but it took several months and I'll never be ordering from them again, no matter what the price. Even if you get the item for free, it's not worth the months of fighting back and forth and all the messages and hassle. I would rather just get what I paid for and be done with it.

You MUST make sure you use tracking when you mail stuff back. They will not give you a refund if you can't prove it was delivered. A while back when the 200mw green modules came out on DX I ordered one and it arrived DOA.

I arranged to return it and mailed it out, but forgot to get tracking. No refund. They won't do anything without a tracking number.

If you do though, they will follow through. I had a PSP screen arrive shattered and after sending it back with tracking, they mailed me another one which arrived in one piece.

This is true. I mailed a defective product worth $100 back to DX without tracking and they would not give me a refund either.

4 times they have sent me the wrong item. One of those times though they asked if it would be okay to send the different flashdrive. One time they sent me a grossly under spec EXPENSIVE green laser. That's focalprice.

I'm still waiting for my package to arrive - they claim to have re-shipped it about a week ago, so not long now. Furthermore, I bought an iPhone 3G screen as "In stock" but only now do they tell me it is in fact out of stock. Still waiting for a reply to my CSE request to ask how long it will be (and if they can refund me so I can get it on eBay instead - at least they deliver what they say they will, most of the time).

Wasnt focal price that had the lasers saying to be <xmW and then ud get a <(x-50)mW one, for example?? Like the prices are really cheap, and from what ive read in this forum almost no one gets a laser with the specs they annouce.
