That's right. He is one of the most valuable member of this forum. His builds are unsurpassed by any. Way better than any kit out there. By far he has the greatest hosts with some awesome focus adaptors. I will be sure and get photos next week of 3 beautiful eghmus 8x and 12x builds.

I would not go that far. I bought a heat sink that didn't do much to reduce my diodes temp. He wanted me to pay more to build a better one. I also bought a diode press, and the hole was not deep enough for the pins on my diode. He has some talent for sure, but he is far from Jatrobs level of skill.

To be fair Jayrob's builds are nice, but he does only make the heatsinks for pre made hosts (not to say they arnt great :)) Ehegumus makes entire hosts, most of them flawless. I also know he has done wanders for the heatsink required for the new dorcy jnr's

You need to remember there are good and bad days for all
builders..
You need to be a bit more diplomatic... you're basically saying
all other builders supply a bad product...:thinking:

Coke is also better than pepsi, and Jack in the box is better than burger king. Anyone care to try and argue more opinion based statements?

The 2 products I bought were not up to par and a waste of money. I cant say that about Jay, so my points is valid regardless if Jay makes hosts or not. Like I said he has talent, but saying he is the best is greatly exaggerated. I like knurling too, and he does not offer knurling, unlike Jay. So there is a third point.

That is not what I meant. I was expressing something positive about one member. I did not say or imply anything negative about anyone else. Not sure where you got that. How could I? Jayrob is amazing, same with darkhorse and others.

Yea I understand what your saying, but it was just an opinion :)

And thanks, I have always wandered what the nice grip pattern was called, I didn't realize that is what knurling is :)

I have also had some good experience, in my dealings with Eghmus.
I'm a proud owner of a beautiful matching set of lasers Blu, red, and green.
I had a slight problem with my green but he fixed it ASAP. These things are not modified flashlights, Their made from scratch. their about as custom as you can get. Plus they look sweet.

1 405nm GGW set at 200mA
1 LCC set to 420mA
1 532nm at 200mW

Not at all.

Saying someone is the best in a general term is wrong no matter who you are talking about. Thats a fact, not an opinion. Sorry if you disagree.

The statement I made cannot be verified nor disproved with any measureable amount of evidence. That is why I saw it so easily as an opinion. Apparently some believe that it is in fact a factual statement. Sorry to confuse some people. From now on I will try to lable things for those who have trouble differntiating. I guess this is why people use IMHO.
