Just want to say thanks to DTR for such great service!

Shipping was insane fast. Ordered late Friday night and it was in my mailbox Monday morning - Standard Shipping!!

I ordered the 445nm 9mm Diode In 22mm Module W/2.4A X-Drive & 405-G-2 Glass Lens. (510 threaded version)

Works great! Screwed into my mech mod no problem. I'm able to use it with either 2x18350 or 2x16340 for full power or 1x18650 for lower output.
I don't have an LPM to test the actual output of this laser but I have no doubt it's exactly as described. The module is very good quality.

I'll have some pics coming soon.

Some pics, taken from phone. Nevermind my dirty kitchen lol. I should have taken a beam shot outside last night. It was damp and foggy out, beam lit up half my yard. Perhaps tonight will be favorable too.

I attacked some pests in my reef tank last night too. Once focused it slices through most stuff like butter. It even easily cooked the tiny little pest snails, searing a hole right through the shell.


Is it safe to rest the heatsink on like an icepack to help keep it cooled? Some of the larger aiptasia in my wifes tank are going to take quite a bit longer to fry due to their shear size and semi-translucent body.


* and yes, I'm busted. Those are my safety glasses on the pizza box while I took the picture :tsk:

I had this same Mech Mod! I sold mine because I didn't use it for smoking. Stupid me. :oops:

There's no way i could use this mod for vaping, button sticks too much and makes poor contact. I have to keep adjusting the firing button. I paid like $12 or something for it and definetely got a $12 mod lol.

It works decent as a host for DTR's 510 laser module though. But I'll still be looking for something a little more durable and reliable tonight.

It really depends on where you get the mod and what you're paying, I've seen this mod in good quality materials. Anyone going this route should consider spending a couple extra bucks on their mod. My Tesla Dragon was $25 and I could probably smash bricks with it.

I did have a good clone. While it did not stick, I did get a nice shock once from it.

I ordered my self the same one but i don't seem to find a mod big enough for 2x18650.
They als are max 120mm
Or do i get it wrong?
Which one did you use?

Hi built a few of those the best mod I have is a side button mod, easier to activate the diode. Or you can get a box mod in parallel or in series for power consumption. There's a guy his name is Chris James of exspicit vape mods in NY he's on Facebook for all his mods . This guy I awesome hell build what you want all custom.

Nice to hear this.- although I already knew that about DTR :)

I'm planning on buying several in the next couple months for my next collection. (In assorted styles and colors)

The green module, though, is going to have to wait for end of year, price wise.

The guy ships so fast it is amazing to me how quick an order gets to Alaska. That and he sent me a 1 watt 520nm laser diode for free just because I posted good words for him a few times... (well, I'm making that up... dream on!)

And I thought it might happen with me too - Drats

I ordered two from him on Wednesday. Both 510 modules

a 638 Mitsu and a high power 462

One is going into a Maraxus, the other into this:
