Any idea what the turnaround is on Dr. Lava's drivers? I ordered a MicroBoost Drive (shows "In Stock") on 12/16 and it hasn't shipped yet. I e-mailed, but there is no response yet. I have a build waiting on this and all other parts I ordered the same day or later have arrived. I searched this forum and it looks like others have had issues with him. When something is "in stock" I would tend to think that all someone would have to do is go to the post office and send it out. In all fairness, I have not been charged yet and I know he won't until he ships, it would just be nice to get some kind of communication going here. Last time I bought a driver from him (2009), the turnaround was quick. I'm just wondering what the holdup is this time.

The best thing to do is buy the driver from a re-seller such as FlamingPyro. DrLava is not always very responsive.

pm him on pl(photonlexicon.com). that is the best way to get a hold of him IMO. i always get replies within a day or two over there. it may take a few days now that xmas is almost here. good luck

Great, sounds like a hassle. So my choices are join another forum and chase him down, sit it out and possibly wait weeks or more until he can fit one of his customers into his busy schedule, or cancel my order and start all over again. Fun.

Dr. Lava ought to take those pages down, but unfortunately has been too busy to bother doing it.

Yeah drlava used to be OK as a seller here but has Dropped
the Customer Service/Response ball in the past year...

Like BB said... he should perhaps take down his Sales Threads
on LPF if he doesn't want any customers bothering him with
silly things like paid for orders.....:undecided:

Yeah, it's happened to me before. I wanted to get that correction amp from him, but he ended up cancelling it because he didn't offer it anymore, and yet the page still stays up.

In light of these comments, I decided to cancel my order. Any suggestions as to with whom I can purchase a boost driver from? I'm repairing my older PHR-803 build that I had running with a single 14500 battery. It would be nice to get the current preset to 120mA. I've got everything except the driver ready for this.

Thanks.

Contact Flaminpyro... he is a distributor for those Boost Drivers
IIRC. He may have some in stock.
