I once heard of a story called MAD.

Moral of that story... sometimes you have to be prepared to go nuclear.

Hi all! Here's the latest update on the dispute I am having with mattyd58. I've not yet heard anything from PayPal, but I have been submitting all of his emails to PayPal as evidence that he is lying about everything.

Rather than quoting him and doing the copy and paste thing, I'd just post images of the actual PMs themselves. I think you'll agree with me that his desperation is palpable...think with sweat even.

The pertinent PM will be sent along to PayPal as just more evidence for him to dig his own grave with.

Isn't this last one just hilarious!! I may have to take his advice.

Wow. Just wow. He can't figure out how to view the "slander"? More like testimony against him, and all he needs to do is open his eyes. I am hoping everything works out very well for you in this. You seem to have a very solid case built against him, but incase the gods align themselves against you I shall send positive vibes your way.

EDIT: Tried to rep you, gotta go find some other chaps to rep first though.

Thanks, Isaac. I'm sorry I didn't call you last night. We both came down w/ colds or sinus infections or something. We limped back into Fort Worth today, and have been trying to survive ever since.

Btw, I seem to remember reading something in PP that a claim can take 42 days or so before it gets automatically escalated or denied, so unless the buyer escalates it prior to that date things will sit in limbo that long.

Based on my readings, after 20 days passes, a dispute is closed automatically.

Gentlemen, here is the way it works:

They buyer has 45 days to open a dispute. It can then be escalated to a claim.

The seller has 10 days in which to respond. The dispute is closed automatically if it is not escalated to a claim.

This cock-knocker escalated to a claim, immediately, claiming he never received his item.

I responded immediately to PayPal when I got notice of the claim.
I provided PayPal with the tracking number.
I provided PayPal with multiple image files of his emails to me, which confirm he received the item.
I provided PayPal with evidence that he is now trying to extort from me.

I do not know how long it will take to resolve this; Usually a minimum of 30 days. PayPal's status on the claim is, "waiting for reply from buyer".

No It shouldn't take all that long. It's not a dispute it's a claim, as such paypal will check on the evidence and make a decision on who wins. If I were you I would call paypal and ask them directly what are they waiting for to close this claim. I had claims with paypal before and the best thing to do is to call them and ask.

Good call Norbyx, I usually have to deal with claims and getting our money back at work. Communication and patience is key. I know it may take 3 months but we'll get our money back. I always allow a little buffer to cover time and expenses too. Big companies have plenty of money, and usually pay insurance to cover losses every year.

This is not matty; due to his dyslexia I have stepped in in his behalf. 3 hours minimum it would be for him to sort this out and reply. Anyway: Concerning the sale in question, he will receive a complete refund from PayPal; already in process. SBA has lost his entire investment (FYI always best to go with legal counsel. matty did his pre law studies but did not take bar exam. Does have friends that are quite established now (me). matty will now receive complete payment in full from PayPal. SBA has lost his entire investment in his venture (Sucker, Ass Bitch!). matty never accused SBA of ill intent. In fact, he originally attributed the problem to batteries. SBA's tone implied to him that he could not return laser without fear of being accused of tampering with it and subsequently losing his investment. matty then offered an alternative so that SBA could receive full purchase price. SBA chose to ignore that,.
In the past 2 months matty has spent close to $3000.00 here, without indecent. There were 2 cases with respected members where the items received were defective. The items were returned & replaced with full payment going to the sellers. The returned items were determined to be defective. And not due to anything matty did. Anyone interested in details or Sellers matty bought from for verification let me know.

For someone that seems to think they know how the process works, you're pretty immature. Maybe try growing up a bit and people might take you seriously, yeah?

SBA, if you'd like this guy banned, just give me the word, but I've held off so you can try work something out.
