I'm in the right in this case, and I do not need to resort to suggested actions.

I've sent a .png file of his email address and usename, along with one of the PM he sent me, where he tried to extort the driver from me, directly to PayPal and submitted it as evidence against him.

SBA I like you in defending yourself, I see that in myself and am demonstrating it on another laser forum.. Aint not demo though.. I am pissed.
I hate these fukrs that seem to plant themselves, under a guise of setting things straight to regain composure.. they test, rippoff, test a little more.. find that practically nobody will defend themselves or the forum and feel they are on a free pass to do it all over again with no punishment.. kind of like how the USA citizens are, they dont speak up..

I can understand how people may think odd things with all the text, yet, for example - now I have a lesbian now accusing me of having a homosexual relationship with the person that I demand my repayment from.. she is so fucking screwy in the head to begin with though... yet at times she is quite bright...

And then when you get back to the amount of wording.. the person you are confronting will be able to seemingly think that it is too much to read and therefore they are in the right, not answer a fricking thing and keep on repating things that have nothing to do with what you are discussing.

Your first post describing your situation was quite long, very long... bah.. I really shouldnt and dont have the time to be even replying to anything at this point and should be packing up for a move I have to do..

I have learned that just presenting things one line / point at a time is the most effective way to try to reason with these creeps. there is not much else they can find to wander the subject off onto. and it takes the longest for them to respond.

well considering he tried to say he didn't get it at all to paypal and you have tracking. once paypal sees that it was delivered if he turns around and says um its broken now to paypal they will know this guy is bs... hopefully

Since this transaction took place over state lines, and he is making a non receipt claim, it is technically a federal crime.

This is exactly why I did not ship it completely assembled, and labeled the item as "custom flashlight parts". I don't want the FDA up my ass, and was hoping by selling it dismantled, the buyer assumes the risk.

I'd love to know our "builders' rights and responsibilities in regards to this issue.

LaserCo, good luck with your dispute issues. I am compiling a list of ways to protect myself as much as possible. Perhaps a thread in that regard is called for...

the fact and admitting that you are trying to avoid the FBI
and FDA from checking into this Laser sales transaction...

Jerry, the "new thread" quote above was the title of that particular PM subject. He was referring to "creating a dispute thread", which I decided would be my response to the PM...creating this dispute thread.

I ship out a lot of laser and I always get Insurance so if some thing goes wrong your buyer is okay !
I have 1 in 100 or so to get baggage in shipping. All you can do is refund or fix. you will find some people will lie and say it came in bad. but most of the time they will admit they dropped it ,ran it to long . I would refund hem the shipping back if you find some thing is wrong ,as it looked like you did . That is the best you can do. You can not make some people happy no matter what you do!!!!
PS I would not put a 5min.run time on a laser my laser have one of the biggest and and will run for 5 min. but the life of the laser will be short .Just because you can run a laser for 5min. does not mean you should!! I put 60sec max 30sec. for long life
and do not get a lot of returns. I think it is best to under state and have more happier costumer my 1w red does not get hot and I think it would run tell the batteries go dead but I put a 1min. run time on it too, It help to protect me and the buyer do not give up selling laser I have had friend stop selling them and I too have thought of not selling some times. there is not much money in it ,and the risk is high

Yes it would. In essence you'd shoot yourself in the foot.

However he would also go down.

It's just something for this scammer to consider... the fact that what he is doing is a federal crime.

I once had a dream wherein I was carrying a mighty pole ax which was attached to a chain. The weapon appeared fearsome, and I carried it in an ethereal world of ghost and spirits. One of these otherworldly beings did stalk me, and I began to run through the streets, all the while never gaining ground on her. Finally, I leapt into the air, and did most ferociously engage the spirit in battle. Alas, however, when my great poleax on a chain was swung, the chain would snap tight at the end of its arc, and swing back and cut ME. Each time it was swung, the ax would pass through her harmlessly and injure, with great prejudice, myself.

Moral of my dream as it pertains here. You argument regarding the FDA sounds scary enough, but simply use it as a deterrent rather than an actual weapon, as when "poleax on chain weapons" are used, the wielders sustains the most damage.
