I tried to PM Trev22 but either he has me on ignore or maybe that happened because of his ban. So I want him to read what I treied to PM him here:

trever22 said:
It really bothers me how everyone thinks I scammed DLMB. You think the same just like everyone else. The truth is I did not recieve his money. And for everyone saying I PM'd 10 vets asking for free lasers, thats false I asked a couple of members if they had spare laser parts they dont need, but I WOULD be willing to pay. And as for what TJ is saying here he really pisses me off. I am selling a bow that I bought so that I can afford that laser.

I AM SICK OF EVERYONES SHIT AND DONT CARE IF I GET BANNED, THANKS
(my response)

Can you tell me why after I PPed you the dollar you said you needed so badly that I never got a TY from you about it? and no response when I asked if you got it?
and You got another dollar from Coherant and I got exactly the same message about wanting some free laser stuff as all he others did. Sorry but there are just too amny red flags about all this-I also did not appreciate your question in my GB thread about a laser that you did not order and if you had would you still be waiting for it. thats all wrong - you should have asked me that in a PM and you were wrong about which GB you were talking about.

So this is how I see it-- I am more sure that DLMB did send the cash( & i told him that was a big mistake) than I am certain that you did not get it. Maybe I am wrong and the PO lost it- but from the hundreds of times I have mailed stuff I only had ONE thing get lost and it eventually got found as it went to the guys old address and it sat on the porch of an empty house for over a month.

I dont 'know' you and I dont know Dustin much better but I have told him to just drop it. He has health and family issues and his going on and on about this is not a good thing. Let me know if the letter finally turns up and I will gladly apoligize until then --sorry . we are done until then.

I ban evaded because I had thing in the middle of a transaction. Then that got banned.

If an admin is reading this, can you make bans NOT block the PM function because it can screw some stuff up.

I only used the other account to PM and it STILL got blocked.

Excuse my naivete.

Toaster, are you admitting that you are Trever22?

I can't say that this was at all unexpected. We've seen the result of dishonest behaviour illuminated once again. Not you trever22 er uh Toaster. :)

@Toaster, bans especially "should" prevent PM's. Scammers take great advantage of PM's. Just ask trever22.

If I remember correctly, Toaster had been banned FOR multiple-accounts, but because Things was doing business with him, and he apologised, we poll-voted him back in... At least, that's what I vaguely remember about a thread on that topic. I'm fairly certain it had nothing to do with Trever22.

Wow can't believe I missed this. I'm always on the latest scoop.. Lol

What I was thinking is why did Dustin buy that if he can't spare 70 cents? Seems like a bad idea, on top of the fact that he sent it in the mail. I'm for sure not picking sides because although I don't think Dustin is lying, there is no reason to believe the kid is either.

My $0.02

Re read my posts, like I said... I did not buy it for me, I fronted a friend some $ because we are good pals, and have each others back when needed.... I did not and don't want the gun....

Lol!!!

Daguin, Hell no.

Rhd, Not what happened. I was banned because I was/am a dick!!! Lol I had 2 accounts because I was doing business with a third party that I had started before I got banned. Then I had some stuff I needed to get done, so I made another account (Only for PMs) and I finished it (What I needed to) right before the second account got banned. My ban on my main account just wore off.

There you have it!!! I am not Trever22 and now you know all you need to! Lol

Now THIS thread was pretty entertaining to read! I can't remember the last time I actually read through 5 pages of ranting and raving ;)

Also--in easily close to 1000 lasers sold on my end I can remember 3 that got lost in the mail. One resurfaced a month and a half later. So... 0.2% chance that your package will get lost in the mail approximately if you use USPS.

That Trever22 proved he is a jerk/scammer, but damn, sending cash in the mail and claiming you had "no choice"? "No choice" is when your wife is held ransom and the ransomer demands payment only via cash-in-envelope-via-USPS (which is pretty far-fetched), not paying for some airsoft gun. The other choice is to not buy things in the first place. That excuse ranks with the dumbest excuses for stupid behavior I've ever had the misfortune of hearing.

But hey, punishment is the best teacher, maybe you'll learn your lesson. Next time, if you simply must send payment "good as cash" but can be canceled for fraudulent cases, use cashier's checks, and don't be so cheap as to avoid insurance + delivery confirmation. Better yet, don't choose to participate in, or get suckered into, "deals" that ask for or require (or even worse, you volunteer to use) ridiculously insecure payments. I do hope this incident isn't a microcosm for a larger pattern of poor financial judgment, like paying for college via funds Ngababo from Nigeria promised you for a $5,000 transfer fee.

I love how everyone tried to pull this shit on me too.... this thread was NOT for you to do this, it was to point out that trever22 is up to something. And you don't have the knowledge to say that Bionic, were you HERE? Did you live the EXACT detail of this situation? This thread is not for pointing out the mistake... I am getting tired of my threads getting derailed :tired:

I am getting tired of my threads getting derailed :tired:

I hear your frustration. It's annoying when discussion doesn't stick to what you planned.

At the same time, it's equally frustrating to hear people talking about what threads are "for" all the time.

Threads are a conversation. Conversations evolve. When we have chats as human beings, we don't define a strict topic at the greeting stage, and then get angry if discussion strays. That doesn't make sense, because that's not how humans communicate, that's not how our minds work. It's very artificial to say "you're off topic". And in fact, in my opinion, nobody here was off topic anyway. They were talking about the actual issue you discussed. They just, perhaps, weren't talking about it in a way you liked ;)

I'm sure I'll get a neg rep for this... that seems to be the trend. But I just think we should get along and coexist peacefully.

(except of course, in the case of Trevor22... he's a DB moocher who deserves public shaming)

;)

Without sounding to harsh, you screwed yourself Dustin. If you took the proper procations this wouldn't have happened. People are not so sympathetic because you have no proof he didnt actually get the money. This is not saying it wasnt a scam, but if you had .70 receipt saying it was delivered, you'd have a more sympathetic audience.

I am not asking for sympathy.... If I was I'd have gone asking for donations like trever22 did.

I never said you wanted sympathy. My point was that you get angry when people talk about your errors. You have to expect that in this situation.

No...you can be mad. But when you keep posting replies, you're going to get replies in return.

He's gone, you're not going to get your money back, so its just best we all just move on.
