There is a lot to doubt here, but the link to the adds in the gumtree for a laser pointer and lost of other goodies sold by an Adam, looks reasonably solid.

I am pretty sure the UK police will find it quite simple to go from pay pal account to bank account.
Or from address and phone number in add to person.

If those two are the same he is likely looking at a lot of scamming charges. :D

That is one option, another would be to compile posts and PM's from here with the IP-address and other information from Adam's account, and send it to the leeds police. A link to his adds in the gumtree may convince them that they are looking for a repeat offender.

Well, laser mafia, call me if you need some reinforcements. I'm a Brit living in London, armed with a 200mW red, 2 50mW greens and... ummm... a cheap shitty air rifle! And a blowtorch! And... that's all i can think of for now.

right guys your right i am a complete loser i care about myself more than others i recieved the money and im going to pay it all back dave im sorry for everything and rod i will give your money back soon as i have it ive realised what ive been doing and its not good all i wanted was a adidas jacket for $50 and ive got what i wanted but tbh i just dont wanna be like this anymore :( ive been having alot of relationship problems in this past week and its not been good for me and im just feeling like i need to change i know you guys dont know me but im a great guy in real life honestly :) i just thought "hey lets scam some laserforum people" and it worked but its hit me hard and i dont know how to make it up to the forum members other than pay the people back and on the gumtree add's i did not scam, dave and rod are the only 2 guys ive scammed in my life and it just really doesnt feel good so rod and dave soon as i get payed next i will refund you right away :) sorry if its not in full payment right away cos i only earn 50 pound a week as a bartender. so im absaloutly sorry to everyone i really am i hope your accept me back to lpf and i promise never to buy or sell in here again i give you my word :) once again dave im sorry and rod.

Its good you man'd up. Doing negative things will only bring negativity back on you. Dave is one of the most nicest, generous, helpful person I've know. He does not deserve to get ripped off. Pay the people back and I'm sure the rest will work themselves out. It takes a man to stand up and admit he was wrong. So you're half way there.

but it will need to be proven that your words are not empty...

We'll see if the members in question get their money back...
That is the only way to know the weight of your words...

That's a good start I guess, but it means nothing until you follow through.

Unless they've already been refunded, I don't believe you. It takes far longer to type that than it does to issue the refund.

I HOPE your being sincere. I would not presume to speak for Dave, but if you refund both Dave and I, it will go along way toward restoring MY trust.
Oh... And don't forget SScamaro on your other listing as well. Dave and I, ARE NOT, the only people you have scammed.

I will post on here when I have actually received the refund. I just checked Paypal and nothing so far.
