Awesome repair services from Flaminpyro
Ok, So I know there are already a few threads in this section. Regarding purchases made by members, from flaminpyro. All are very favorable.
Flaminpyro does more then just custom builds or selling kits.
That is why I want to give Flaminpyro some credit, for all the hard work he has done for me. Flaminpyro has gone out of his way for me, more then a few times.
I have sent him countless items for repair. Lasers, drivers, diodes with broken + pins, failed builds, you name it.
Most recently, I sent him my O-Like 500mW RPL style, For a failed switch. The RPL's plunger and switch were misaligned. Every time I pressed the plunger, it was hitting the very edge of the switch. Over time this put undo stress on the switch, and it broke of the circuit board. So he replaced the switch and made some small modifications to the plunger, to improve the alignment. All this for no charge.
Another time Flaminpyro, really came through for me.
Was when I sold a build to WretchedMerc. The laser he purchased worked fine, right before I shipped it. Unfortunately it died on him in the first day
Both WretchedMerc and Flaminpyro are in the same state. Plus I knew he had spare diodes on hand.
So I asked if Flaminpyro could take care of it ASAP, and he did. He even droped a few projects, just to take WretchedMerc's laser to the front of the line.
Flaminpyro will always take the time to explain in detail and sometimes in layman's terms what it is he is doing for you. He often includes pictures, so you can better understand what it is he is doing.
From all my PM's with him, one thing I do get. Is that Flaminpyro very much enjoys being able to help others in this great hobby of his.
