Received a Hyperion Cuprum a week or so back,
realised i haven't posted about the really great transaction with Astralist. :D

Extremely fast postage, EMS from Indonesia to Germany was ~10days all up, due to a delay at the Jakarta local pickup point, but fast none the less
Package was well protected, communication as always is really great with Astralist, fast reply's for any questions you might have!
And the Hyperion Cuprum, very well built, great software which i find easy to use, calibrated straight out of the box and the price is awesome for a hobbiest LPM.

+100 to Astralist on a great product, and producing and representing a product some others in the past could not! Producing is only half the challenge, selling, dealing with people from all over the world, the stress, the bugs, dealing with the money, its all adds up and is alot to deal with.

I'm another happy camper with this purchase and i would recommend if you don't yet have a LPM, this IS a great starting point!!!
Cheers again A :D

Glad to see you got one of these, Corey. I have heard lots of great things about them. I especially like the software for data logging. Thanks for the review.

Thank you for your kind words jnrpop! :D

Well about the communication, you just lucky i'm currently staying in the city
because sometimes when i'm out, i'm unable to respond any message/email/PM
i could only read them via email notification, unable to reply, let alone open the forums,
although sometimes i'm able to send/reply email

Astralist, any word on the drivers you've been making? was hoping to do some testing whenever they are ready.

Good to hear you like the product - the attention to detail in those sensors is really good.

The only downside i found in these meters is that they don't seem to be any predictive modelling when it comes to the measurement displayed. This is no problem if you have a laser that sustains continous output and are willing to take a minute or two to do the measurement, but i think i's something that could be improved in firmware.

I just posted some test on its thread :)

Actually the "prediction" feature is always there in software, but i decided to not showing it as the sensor is already fast :D 0-90% in ~5sec
I guess i'll update the software later.
The firmware on the other hand, out of space for additional features.

Definitely would also like to hear about those.

Soon :D

My LPM is held up due to Harvey.. I messed up and had to PPal twice to get it right OTHERWISE it would have gotten here before Harvey slowed everything down.
I am betting on WED.
