Glad it got there safely...

Be sure to wear goggles, especially when in the high mode :scared:
For its size, it packs an awfully big punch :eg:

Plexus also bought one, IIRC his is doing 1.5W...
I sent these out over spec, at the time I tested
them, I did not have a decent 10440.. and listed
them as 8-900mW..

As long as they surpass the output listed in the sale
thread, im happy

Thanks for the kind words... If you like my old stuff, you're in for
a treat...

Getting my new lathe tomorrow.. :shhh:

My mini lathe crapped out after 3 years of solid service...

RIP little guy :cryyy:

The problem is I have already thought of it... My
lathe was too small. Im going from a good little machine
that was a 7x8 up to a 10x18 which will allow me to
move forward.

Expect.. Beam corrected 4W+ 445's, 30mW 473's, and
eventually some high power greens.

I started on the new stuff about a month ago, but
the size of my lathe brought everything to a stop..

I was going to wait until I had 'spare' cash, but with
a dead mini lathe, its the perfect excuse.

Yup, I've got a good pair of OEM laser goggles for 445nm, plus some terrible ones from wicked lasers that I don't use.

I can't wait to see what other stuff you are going to build in the future, I am so amazed by how much power you can pack into this tiny laser!

Also, is this using a 405 G-1 or a Aixiz 445 lens?

Its a standard aixiz 405nm AR coated. G1 will give a boost in power
but the divergence suffers greatly...

Remember as well, there is a 2 year warranty on those, that is unless
you drop it in your Molson... it kinda voids it lol..
