I paid 164.99 dollars over 3 weeks ago.

I was excited and got a USPS tracking number:

Class: Priority Mail®
Service(s): Delivery Confirmation™
Status: Electronic Shipping Info Received

The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on April 11, 2010 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date.


So 7 days after I ordered he notified USPS his intent to ship. I forgave this week long delay due to his claim of waiting for his LPM to arrive so he could measure and ensure I received outputs >180mw for both modules.


So fast forward to today April 25th.

I decide to get on paypal to see if there is any update to my shipping status etc... Or an update from him. NADA...


His EBAY listing reads with the following disclaimer in large red font:

" OUT OF STOCK, modules are currently out of stock and it will be 2-4 weeks before stock is expected back in. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER.

...........

This message was made april 17th modules will not be in until atleast march.

THANKS"


Am I out of line asking these questions?

i think you should get a refund IMO.. no seller should keep you waiting without a note or an explanation.

REFUND! He should also provide some form of compensation for your trouble...

Get your money back and invest it in a laser that will be on or over spec.

Somewhere like rayfoss.com or o-like.com both do great modules and prebuilt lasers.
