zencart/phpbb users..?

im having a problem linking zencart to the same database as my forum and was wondering if anyone had any experience wiith these? im using zencart 1.3.8a and phpbb 3.0.4. ive changed everything in the admin section according to the search results i got looking into it but cant get it to work properly. i had a friend try to register and it gave him an error saying his email was already in the DB when it wasnt... anyone have an idea?

hi drew, sorry i am not really a DB expert. have you found a solution yet?

unfortunately no...i can get the area to show up when you sign up in the store but it always fails to communicate with the phpbb. it gives errors saying the name/email is already in the DB(error 1064) or saying unknown column error(error 1052). i followed the instructions from Dr.Byte on the zencart forum but all the topics he posted have been locked and it doesnt seem that he gets on much anymore.. :'(

I'm pretty good at using zencart (see my website) but haven't ever used a forum in combination with it. I've found there's a bit of an art when searching for help with zen cart.

For a couple things that I couldn't find I registered on the zen cart forums and just posted my question there. try doing that.

already did. no one seems to know. ive got zen cart 1.3.8a and phpbb 3.0.4 and from what i read in the thread linked below everything was done right...but it still wont work...
