Ive been considering getting an 11 inch MBA to replace my 5 year old HP. don't know if it's worth it though as my laptop nowadays is really a glorified iDevice charger, and if I did get one it'd make my iPad obsolete

I would stick with the iPad unless you're going to miss the customizability of OS X/Windows

Really Mac VS PC and Android VS iOS is all moot now. They're all mature platforms with large user bases and good support. Choose what you like and ignore the haters.

Yeah Apple products generally cost more for what you get but don't forget people also buy expensive cars that in some cases make less power than regular cars. :)

Well, it seems like the new iPad Pro will be launched on November 11th. Do you guys think there will be a pre order available soon?

Edit: 1000th post, yay.

Weow, that's a lot of posts. At least ten, I'd say.

I'm not a fan of purchasing any products immediately on release. You end up paying a premium, and being the guinea pig on any kind of technical issues.

I still have rather fond memories of the whole debacle where Jobs claimed people were holding their phones wrong, causing bad reception :D

(And my personal favorite apple moment will forever remain Job's claim that the hokey puck mouse was the best mouse ever created.)

With the laws over here I can't easily be fucked over if the device were to have serious issues. I can also easily return it within a 30 day period if I must. I could wait another while, but due to the very limited production of the device, there's a chance that I don't get to buy one within another half year or so.

Received my ipad this morning. The thing is stunning, it looks so good. It's big but definitely not oversized. If anyone would like some pics just tell me.

Microsoft surface pro 4 is much better. take a search up Ipad Pro vs. surface pro 4

If I wanted another microsoft device I'd just turn on my desktop or laptop. Also the SP4's pen is a lot worse than apples and it doesn't have palm rejection either. Pictures coming soon.

Just upgraded myself from a galaxy S5 to an the note 5, and I'm extremely impressed by how far technology has come along.

Granted I'm more of less an adroid fan, it does seem that for most users, for typical things, the tablets, or phablets, can really do everything a user could ask of them, except the higher end uses. I mean I can even in theory connect a full size keyboard, and get a proper word processor on there. Email, and everything else is more than enough.

I'm a bit tempted to put up a picture of my phones stacked. They literally form, a pyramid with the biggest on the bottom :tinfoil:
