Thought you guys might enjoy what I'm doing. I recently (as in yesterday) started looking into XBox 360 mods. Basically with some custom installations you can run games from a USB, mod games, etc. I have a Trinity motherboard with the latest dashboard so I decided to do an RGH2, Duel NAND (using a DemoN) mod. What's really cool about the DemoN is that it protects you from getting banned due to the fact that you essentially have two consoles that you can switch between with the flick of a lever: one that is modded so you can play burned games and hack singleplayer, and the standard one for online use. I'll post a picture tomorrow of what I've done so far (essentially just disassembled the XBox 360) and final pics once my DemoN and Proto Chip arrive. Have any of you done any of this sorts and have any tips?

That may work but here is the thing with 360s.. Microsoft in the last few versions of the #360 had started to put anti tampering components into the system. to prevent just what your trying to do. How did I find this out well that come from my step kids dad who is a admin for Microsoft's 360 division. While you may be able to mod a 360 and use it offline the instant you put that thing on a ethernet cable your IP is recorded and if the security bits do not match up with what xbox live send to the console your in trouble.. Microsoft is even in the process of taking this a step further by banning IP's associated with accounts and there is talk about legal action for moding xboxes.. whether that last bit is true or not I dont know just some thing i heard from a friend that tests stuff for Blizzard! I think some of it bull but there are people out on the servers using modded boxes to get a unfair advantage playing some of the games personally i dont care much but hey im just me

take care this is just a opinion and a little bit of fact

The good thing about dual nand is there is no way for microsoft to find out it is chipped.
It basically keeps half the xbox as original, untouched. With the other half modded. It has a dual boot which means when you want to use the modded part you unplug your net connection and boot up using DemoN. If you want to go online you boot up the original portion of your xbox. I have modded a few xbox's in my time and only the first was banned(a looong time ago) because it was a single boot mod.
