Funny litte good priced toy with weird sound !!

When I got the WLtoys V272 I was unable to fly it.
After bending the mainboard at the arms -these boards are pretty flexible- I was able to balance the drone.

I use a throttle between 40% - 60% MAX.POWER for now.
This way I can also prolong the manufacturer given 4min flying-time before recharge to about 6-7min.

Temporary I only use the engine control, back-and-forth and longitudinal axis roll, no moves at the yawing axis till I get more experienced.

Saw this one at Tmart today

Was tested by this guy here

It flies AMAZINGLY well in the wind; it fights the current well even at only 60% rates.

Just bought it using the coupon code during checkout Spring6 and my reward points through registration for about $22 - included is a nice transmitter and a second LiPo

^Thought so, used it about 2 hours ago.

Btw, they´re Mode2 (throttle and rudder are on the left stick) as most people wish to have it.

Just tried myself, and it's back up at $30. The promo code only takes off a few cents.

Very nice! Yup this is the Estes Proto X (normally $40). They're manufactured by Hubsan and it uses the Hubsan proprietary RF protocol so it works with all Hubsan transmitters.

With the full registration process and the coupon it comes to $25 for me. I'd grab one but I have a Hubsan X4 H107L on the way so no need.

Nice find!

Interesting quad. One should note the reviews say it doesn't have stable hover capability, so the six axis remark may be false.

Agreed! That's quite impressive! I saw a related video afterwards which showed the tech used, and they are stating it uses a 10kW continuous motor!
