Canon 100mm Macro USM (2009 model)
Nice kit. 2009 model... ? Clue me in please :) What's "new" with the venerable EF 100 Macro? Are you talking about the L IS (or should I say, HIS) version? So how well does HIS work, in your opinion?

I ment the model that came before the L IS model (that one came out in 2010 I think? Or wait maybe it was 2009...)

Edit : Here's a pic I took with it :

Um. My camera bag has only this:

00426_olympus-stylus-tough-8000.jpg

Waterproof Olympus Camera, and of course, some waterproof lasers.

Took the attached pic with it last month while snorkeling in Belize.

Aperture value and shutter speed. You've got a very steady hand

Belize...? Damn, ain't life good!!!
So... what did the sea life think of your [waterproof] lazors? I'm not sure but I think dazzling fish is frowned upon...

Well. Diving to 20 feet down killed one (532nm) of the Rayfoss lasers I brought with me. But, my waterproof Rayfoss 405nm lasted to that depth, and because I snorkel during the daytime (and the Caribbean is so clear = less particles), I didn't get much in the way of a visible beam. But I could see the bluray "dot" changing colors on the different coral in the reef below.
Oh, and before my 532nm flooded, fish were chasing the green "dot" just like cats chase <5mW lasers on land. :D

I wonder if I should start a photography thread where anyone could post non laser related pics... Should I?

Sure, why not! Worst case, it doesn't go to far, but I've already seen quite a few amateur photgraphers lurking around LPF so...

p.s. sorry for the late reply - I was working on lasers, for a change

Yes, that's my back yard :p
Except for resize from 8Mpix to 1024x786, not one pixel is touched or edited.

Enjoy, folks!
