What Anti-Virus program do you use?

Also say what Anti-Virus you reckon stands out from the crowd. I've used Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 for a while now, but I've moved to Nod32 because I heard it uses less rescources, which means better battery life for me. :D I've also used Norton anti-virus when I first downloaded a torrent file (best thing that has ever happened to me :D). All I can say is Norton is a rescource hog and I got infected with lots and lots of viruses, which McAfee and mostly Kaspersky removed. :) If you use Norton please tell me why you use it and if it has improved over the years, I don't reckon it has though. :p

I use Norton Internet Security.
I've used It + AVG before. but right now i just never got around to installing AVG. NIS works very well for me, it blocks everything and my computer hasnt goten any viruses.

I use no antivirus. I haven't for about 10 years now.

I don't use IE or WMP or Outlook, which gets rid of the potential for about 95% of viruses right there, and I don't mindlessly click yes to everything.

I'll occasionally (maybe once a year) install F-Prot or NOD32 and let it scan once before uninstalling, but I have yet to have it find any viruses.

Well.... That's not 100% accurate... Some exploit unpatched vulnerabilities in windows and will install themselves just by you being connected to the internet.

Luckily all of those vulnerabilities were patched in XP Service Pack 1 and there haven't been any in a while... but I remember plugging in freshly formatted computers and getting the Blaster or Sasser worms within half an hour of doing nothing on the internet.

I know, I know...but most viruses are triggered by the user.

I've been using Kaspersky since a very long time. I'm currently on a 2-year key. My favorite free scanner is antivir, I install that one at unprotected computers of family and friends.
