Well probaly stopid that i only found it just now, but i ordered 2 of them:) one for me with alarm temperature ect, and one for my grandparents.
Search ebay and youl find them...

The only downside is i do not know if this runs on zinc or something that slowly disappears because the reaction with the water...or is it really powered by the water with salt or lemon juice?
Maybe some geek here knows this?:D

Anyway very nice idea and cant wait to get this:)

All of these clocks run from a metal redox reaction (copper/zinc is popular).

The current draw from such LCD clocks is very low though, so it could literally take a lifetime before the metal parts are consumed in the reaction.

Then if the water only makes the contact, i wonder why it needs to be replaced after a while?
