Stuff that is not ordinary. I already had my eye fall for a levitron revolution.

And i love the coil/ gauss and laser pulse guns on youtube and here but those are not exactly in mass production yet and i cant build one.

Are there more awesome stuff you can recommend me?(afforable and purchasable, not DIY)

That guy appeared on TV - apparently his tesla coil (that what the contraption is called) cost him a craptonne of money. It looks impressive though :).

I personally would stay well out of strike range. :p

One day I'd like to build a massive tesla coil. I'd take a hint from old Nik though and build it in to a self-supporting radio tower. Build myself a miniature Wardenclyffe Tower. I know Hams who have spent more than that will cost on their tower farm, if they can afford to do that then one day I should be able to afford to do my tower.

Anyway, there's lots of fairly inexpensive HV stuff that's very fun.

Also, I have an idea for an LPM using nixie tubes for the display, thoughts?

I have been working on a Nixie Tube one-of-a-kind Steam-Punk
LaserBee project for about 2 months... Just can't find the time to
put it together and finish it.
It was an original idea by K-9 from another Laser Forum from before
Xmas...

It will be posted on the Forum when it's done...

If you could give me tips on setting up the arduino, as well as hooking up the 4 tubes to the micro-controller, that'd be pretty awesome. That's my only knowledge gap is essentially connecting the whole thing together. I want it to look steampunk/old school. I also plan to [perhaps] put a HeNe on each side, just 2 small ones that only glow, just to add to the effect. It's a shame however that this project won't begin for months :/ I also know the K-9 you're referring to, I might send him a PM asking for the some other guidance as well. I was told to contact MarioMaster, and did, but unfortunately he's not as religious when it comes to replying to PMs as most :/
