Hi! Recently I have seen how a lot of people in youtube, upload videos making himselft surgering for implants magnets in their fingers

Can it seem like something dangerous, crazy and unnatural, but I have readed testimonials describing their feelings and here there is a little resume about their feelings:

* With a microwave near, they can feel how it oscillates.

* They can know where is a high voltage source.

* They can feel near home appliances (like air acconditioner).

* They feel when pass throught a magnetic scaner (like in the shops for avoid robberies).

And more amazing things! That seems like a sixth sense.

The "surgeon" (better say: incision) needs a non reactive coating for the magnets (usually homemade) but there are coated magnets rare to find. It can be done in two ways, the first is cutting the finger at the external layer and in that "skin pocket", put the magnet. The second one (more painful) is with a special syringe (more wide that usuals).

Here are videos about the two proceedings (SENSIBLE MATERIAL):

What do you think guys, unethical? Dangerous? Anyone in this forum have these?

Being in the tattoo industry I know a couple people with theses. One particularly well, he lived with us for 6 months in a time of need. But never mentioned being able to feel all those things you listed. It was on th outside of his palm. Didn't seem like a terribly strong magnet.

I have readed that one of the best places for have this are the fingers thanks to all the nerves in fingers. Perhaps have it in to palm of the hand does less sensitive to the magnetic fields

Thought you were kidding. Please don't go modifying your healthy body. I can think of lots of reasons to not do it. The lesser of them is I think it would cancel your credit cards when handling them.

That have remembered me:

Luckily, the magnet is not strong enough to wipe out credit cards nor will it negatively affect electronics or computer monitors.

I support the biohacking, maybe I'm optimistic but I see more pros than cons

I would find it rather annoying if my finger started to tingle every time the microwave was used and I was close by .

Considering the reason they feel it is because the magnet is moving in the presence of a magnetic field .

Just don't have an MRI ....

This doesn't sound worth it or very useful. I would be impressed with an artificial heart, liver, eye, or an arm or a leg if they can make a good one, I might even take a chip implant in my brain if it could do something really great like give me more memory or let me do math instantly etc.

Unless you deal with paper clips all day : P

Well I guess it could be useful in that case, I have some tiny neodymium magnets that are 1/8"X1/16" that would probably be about right, but I wouldn't want one under my skin. As you mentioned above, I don't think you can get an MRI if you have one of these. Imagine what would happen if you ever touched one of those neodymium super magnets that have several hundred pounds of pull.
