My Pc is

Pentium Dual core Ivy bridge @ 2.9 GHz
Stock intel Cooler .
2 x ATI 7950 GPUs
16 GB Samsung green 1600 Mhz Ram
160 GB harddrive .
700 W PSU
Win 7 64

Don't use it for anything othere than folding . It used to have a LGA 2011 i7 in but I bricked the bios so sold the cpu and got a new mobo and the Pentium processor

All these computers are too clean :D

DSCF1818.jpg

The case is ancient, so it doesn't have any front panel USB3 (thus the extensions and breakout), I also have a few random bodged in HDD's from old computers I haven't bothered sorting the stuff out on. Apart from that, it's just a 3.4Ghz dual core i3, with 8GB of RAM and a HD4890. Damn GPU heats my room!

Take a minute to admire my cable management :D

If anyone in Aus has a fairly modern case they'd like to "retire" :D

Was considering getting a fractal design define mini, I like the simplistic cases :)

Also want to aim for something not a full tower, since I occasionally have to lug it around for lasershows, a bit of extra portability is nice.

Yeah I have to move my computer around quite often, I sort of wish I had got a laptop, but at the end of the day, nothing beats a huge bad-ass PC :D

Haha, unfortunately the lasershow software is actually pretty resource demanding. My eeepc used to keep up with the old software, but it doesn't stand a chance with the newer one.

Apart from cost, one of the reasons I went for the 3.4Ghz i3 was because pretty much the only other resource intensive thing I do is play Minecraft, which can really only use a single core anyway. So I figured it would be better getting something with faster per-core speeds than more cores at lower speed.

One of the main reasons I built my computer was because of Minecraft :D

I look forward to seeing it eytyxhs :)

Awesome FireMyLaser! What mW is that green laser and what did you do to get it running continuously? I wouldn't mind doing that.

I think it is about 5 mW. I connected it to the 5 volt rail through a current limiting resistor. It still has the stock linear driver.
