I love you man, downloading now! I used to have a pirate version but it crashes when I finish advanced chambers 14 and 16...

Seems like Valve's servers are getting hammered, I keep getting a "Servers busy" error.

Portal Prelude is a free Mod (extra entire game), if you already have portal (and steam) installed.

Me too.. so i was pretty happy to get a real copy.

Ya.. im sure the servers are getting mass traffic right now. my DL took over an hour. but it did install just fine.


I think its cool to see that there are some portal players out there though. Glad i could share the news.

Its been quite a while since i played portal.

I'm not much of a gamer in general, but portal was one i really enjoyed at the time, just innovative. Anyone who hasn't played with it before should get a copy and enjoy it... it really combines fps visuals with good puzzles, and a sort of interesting storyline too.

You can usually find all the solutions by doing a youtube search. But, some of them are speed runs, so you gotta' pause to see each spot to place a portal.
Search Youtube: "Portal test chamber [x]"

I beat the main part of the game, and I'm working on the challenges but they are hard!

This game is not half bad, the storyline is really neat too!

Prelude, right?
The game is quite a bit more difficult (and a lot more fun) than the original Portal, but for free, it's totally worth it. Nice job on beating it. :beer:

Wow, I finished pirated portal like.... 10 times?
Once a speed run took me one hour to complete the game, from beggining to end.
Would last shorter if there were no loading times.

Anyhow, excellent game and it's great and intuitive, really gets your grey cells working.

I'd reccomend to ANYONE, even if you do not like games at all.
It's not a first person shooter, it's a puzzle. A damn good one.

Too bad Steam is not working on my PC right now. Blocked ports on WiFi network.

Well anyhow, all you downloading, have fun!

It finally downloaded in the middle of the night for me. I've never tried it. It looks cool.
