They should have mounted the FETs on the edge of the board to allow for custom heatsinking.

DRSSTC's don't need much heatsinking, they're very low duty cycle :)

Looks great tho!

why so much Grix? i paid $229USD for mine shipped. You could sell a complete one for a bit, these will be pretty popular

They are $330 on their site.. Plus $50 shipping, $20 fixed import fee, and last but not least 25% import VAT.. Gotta love protectionism

Almost finished the main board, just need to wind the gate transformer and install the IGBTs and heatsink.

Is there over-current protection built into the driver to protect the IGBTs?

*bumps* Theres no OCD from what I recall on the OneTesla. I remember testing 3 of these boards, when they were the green models. It's an OKAY board in my opinion but the lack of OCD and phase shift REALLY angered me after awhile xD Looking forward to seeing your build. If you want I can share pics/results I had from my one-tesla boards but that was V1 boards, it looks like the black ones had changes made after the issues we found on V1 xD

Looking forward to seeing videos of it working! They sound lovely once you get around to musical :) Especially polyphonic
