G'day,
Some time ago, Le Quack was telling me about these things called "Nixie Tubes" i was intrigued, so here i am
Today i received the last parts to complete my Nixie clock.
It is using the big uber IN-18 Nixie tubes and smaller colon tubes.
Now the kit i bought was expensive at the least, but the finished product is amazing!
Bought the PCB from here: Nixiekitworld.com - Onlineshop - IN-18 Blue Dream Clock kit
and the Tubes and case from here: Nocrotec Shop - IN-18 Blue Dream Nixie Clock - Tube and case part set
You have to solder some small inductors, resistors, capacitors, switches, plug sockets and the collon tubes which is fairly easy, all components are larger than SMD components.
The thing runs off a 12VDC 1000mA adapter supplied.
Thanks for looking!
