LCD monitors seem to have hit their bottom as far as pricing goes, about a year or two ago I got an Acer AL1916W 19" widescreen LCD monitor with a 5ms response time for about $160, prices haven't really dropped any since then

$160 is pretty damn cheap. I still love the glossy and bright look of this monitor nonetheless. No dead pixels and a gorgeous display on my Hackintosh.

my laptop has a glossy screen, really sucks when u go outside though :( (it's like a friggen mirror)

Nice! I'm still partial to my samsung 226BW though...

22", glossy finish everywhere except the screen itself, which is great because it avoids the mirror effect.

My laptop screen is also glossy. Its a fingerprint magnet!!!

Damn hard to clean too :(

Only 19"?? I think theres a 22" out somewhere....

22'' Was an extra $50 or so I wasn't originally going to spend. Since this is on my desktop, I don't have to worry about the mirror effect too much.
