We've seen a jello laser and screaming jello, why not a jello magnet?

Good question, Doctor.I would love to see a breakthrough like they are talking about.Such magnets would be incredible.I have some very high spec Neodymium Iron Boron magnets here, and they are insane to play with...and dangerous.I have 2 2"x1" disks that would crush fingers. They are N50 grade, which is very high flux density. You can do tricks with these that are absolutely impossible with anything else.
As I type, a piece of pyrolytic graphite floats in the air above 4 NIB magnets on top of the fridge.Google graphite levitation. It is really cool.I can't wait for better flux density...even tho the magnets I have are good for more than 1 Tesla!!!

I've pinched my fingers with HDD magnets and that hurts, I can't imagine one that is twice as strong. I wouldn't be able to disassemble the hard drive if they were that strong!

OMG!These would be completely impossible to separate. They crush fingers of smaller humans.I have put them in my palm on both sides...and they were painful. For scale, I am 6'4", and I have big hands! They are stashed where the children cannot get them. They are seriously dangerous magnets....and for all that, epic fun too!!!
You can make silverware that is magnetic dance through the thickest table!
They are really cool. They nuke CRT color @ 20ft.Carrying one in best buy in the color tv section would be evil. And wrong.(no, I have not done that)
