Thanks Adrian--as long as I just nav around LPM the back arrow is green- but if I click on a link-ro an ebay link- or an ad link(within LPF) the back is ghosted. and if I X out I always go back to desktop- not last site visited unless i click on 'history' and click on the last (top) site.

let me ask you this(anyone) if you scroll down and click on click on Moderx,com - does yoru back button stay green- mine turns to grey- thats called ghosted-correct? if I exit modrex via X I do not go back to LPF --I go back to desktop- follow me?--IM SO CONFUSE-ED! sorry to be a pest guys- hak

To take a screenshot: have your browser open and full screen. Press the print screen key on your keyboard (may be labeled "PrtScn"). Open MS paint. press ctrl+V. Save it.

Thanks-but pressing'Print Screen' key with and with out shift does not seem to do anything- does it take a long time?

It does it instantly, you wont see anything happen. After you hit the 'Print Scrn' button(you dont need to press the 'Shift' Key), open up MS Paint and paste it by pressing 'Ctrl-V'. After doing this you should see a pic of your desktop, then all you do is save it.
Another thing you can try is go to: TOOLS-INTERNET OPTIONS, then click the ADVANCED tab, then towards the bottom press the 'Reset' button.

says I need to restart IE?? is that the same as reboot or restart-new one on me. FIXED It thanks driv247- figured it was something simple- another classsic case of my overthinking again!!workin' fine now!1thanks sto much to all- owe you guys one!!

Wow...glad to see it all worked out.

To print your screen you must press PRTSCN on your keyboard.
Then go to Start....all programs...Assesories....Paint.

Now press and hold Ctrl....while pressing Ctrl...press the letter V

It might ask you if you would like to resize the plane.....click yes...(If it does)

Now go to file.....Save as......Select JPEG for the file type...and then click save.

You are now done.

The end result will look like this.
