Know any Proxy App's for bypassing school filters?

I dont really need a Proxy Website, cause most don't work at school, and the rest get blocked after using them. Last year i used to use firefox + a plugin and an aditional app that ran in the background, and i was able to bypass the filter, but it's too much work, and it was slow. Is there alternative ways? an all-in-one app for doing this?

I will search my hacker forums and tell you what i find, in the mean time, does anyone know of anything?

firefox addon called phproxy it gets a list of servers too

at our work we made our own proxy on a mates reseller hosting site
but the provided ones usually work

Just use an https proxy such as:

https(colon)//kproxy(dot)com/

https(colon)//ninjacloak(dot)com/

Note that these sites run of the secure https, as opposed to simply http, which means that no school firewall filter can block it... in most cases.

My school blocks https easy, infact the homepage is https.

lol i hadnt visited this thread in about a day or so and i found ultrasurf just now on my own, all happy to report of my finding, and i found out you already posted about it... thanks anyway! lol

well.. unfortunatly NONE of these worked. except jondo, i havnt tried yet.

HOWEVER, i found out that my school filter is actually software installed on the computer, called Altiris. I cant close it without entering a password, and the task manager is disabled by the Administrator. Command Prompt and the registry is also disabled. If i can find an alternative task manager that i can close the .exe, i think this will work.

Well they already block most proxy sites, they block anything with the word proxy or pr0xy. If it's not blocked then it will be days after ive used it. Last year i used Tor and videlia + firefox. but now it no longer works. PHProxy doesnt seem to work, i think they managed to block more firefox proxy's.
My friend says he can get past the filter using "Firefox Portable" so i think ill try that, but he may also have some plugins with it, either way he is going to give it to me to try.

Well, like I mentioned in those posts, you can set up your own proxy.. either a web-based one using the nph-proxy.pl script (which you can then modify to not include the word proxy), then host it on some free webpage site... OR, what I do is set up a SSH tunnel to my home computer.. it works really fast, everything's unblocked (even things like IRC, MSN and online games can use this method) and they so far haven't blocked my home computer... if they do, I can change the IP address of my home computer and be back up and running in five minutes.

As for Tor, IDK how they might have blocked it... Maybe they've just blocked the ability to install it or something? There's a portable firefox thing called "torpark" that includes all the tor plugins and stuff and can be run off a usb drive etc... though I hate tor, it's really slow and some sites themselves block tor users from posting.

yeah i didnt like the speed of tor either. i probably wont do the SSH tunnel thing, but i will try adding .nyud.net or cob-web.org:8888. I'll also try torpark.
they have disabled installing apps, so im just used to isntalling it at my house and bringing the extracted files to school.

I is able to create admin accounts on most systems :cool: Web Filters cant stop me ;D Join me and we can rule the internet TOGETHER !! ;D

Im serious though, 1234 - 12345 -123456 - p455w0rd - password are all insecure passwords, and often work, and ohh yeah my neighbours wireless encription key 12345-12345-12345-12345-12345 ;D also insecure .

But if you go to a good book store they sell books on computer security, which can have two good uses, protecting your own computer and learning how to break security on other computers ;)

If anyone needs help ask !! ;D

My school must have been dumb, or else this is more ingenious than I thought...but probably dumb school. The would block sites like publicproxyserver(dot)com, or such sites as that that just list proxies. So, what did we do? Google cached version of the proxy list website. One may have had to do a creative google search to get google to find the actual list page instead of the index page that had no listing of servers, but once found, the cache was usually available and never seemed to be more than a day old, and was often fresh that morning. Then, put in the proxy IP like usual. Again, may have just been my stupid school, but you never know til you try.

yeah actually i was able to view the cache too, but there were lots of missing images and usually you can only view the main page, anything you try to click on is blocked lol.
